Reactions attributable to the use of some medications and dental restorative products are oral lichenoid reactions (OLRs). OLRs result in the production of red and white oral cavity lesions with or without oral mucosal burning sensations. Clinically similar to oral lichen planus lesions, these lesions therefore support the patient in reliving the symptoms by differentiation and treatment of OLRs.
