High Performance Enamel Coatings on Metallic Substrates | Chapter 7 | New Ideas Concerning Science and Technology Vol. 3

High performance enamel coatings for application on various metallic substrates such as steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper, nickel and titanium alloys are described in the current review paper. Enamel coating can be used as a flexible coating with a combination of desired properties, such as heat resistance, resistance to corrosion, chemical resistance, resistance to friction and resistance to wear. Extensive research has already been carried out by researchers on the application of different types of enamel coatings on metallic substrates, depending on the need for actual applications. The aim of the current paper is to provide an overview of the Significance of the enamel coating for metallic substrates use.
