Recent Study on Dielectric Properties of Epoxy Resin Fly Ash Composite | Chapter 9 | Recent Developments in Engineering Research Vol. 9

In high voltage applications, epoxy resin is commonly used as an insulating material. In order to improve its mechanical properties, ceramic fillers are often applied to the polymer matrix. But at the same time, the electrical properties are reduced by filler materials. So, it is obvious to detect the effect of fly ash reinforcement on the dielectric nature of the material when making the fly ash epoxy composite. Fly ash is applied to four different formulations of weight percentages in the current research work and postcuring has been performed in the atmospheric condition, regular oven and micro oven. Ceramic filler such as fly ash improves the mechanical properties of good dielectric properties. Permissibility and tan delta in the 1 Hz - 1 MHz frequency range. The fee for room Using the pulse electroacoustic (PEA) technique, acts were also observed. The dielectric power unit For various circumstances, strength and loss are compared. The composite of fly ash epoxy polymer may be Used as a strong dielectric material in the electrical and electronics markets.
