The big focus of this study search out ascertain by means of what undergraduates in the Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan use the library and allure resources still the user instruction gained through the use of library course. In all academic environment, the study, users in addition to information possessions are very important elements for realization of academic set aims. Therefore, the effectiveness of academic athenaeum is a function of a healthy interplay between the consumers, library stick, information resources and added components that create the library structure. Structured questionnaire was secondhand for the collection of dossier. The population of the study attracted on was the undergraduates of the faculty of Education, University of Ibadan. The aim population was from six from seven departments in the Faculty of Education. The type of user instruction programme, timing and content were the major determinants that caused undergraduates discontent in using the book repository resources. Therefore, the judgments adjudged undergraduates as non-frequent users of the athenaeum. The lecturers in charge of the bibliotheca use course, reference librarians, as well other bibliotheca professionals and bibliotheca staff the one organise library adjustment should all participate in the education/training of undergraduates by some means, while keeping the consumer education program's goals in mind. Failure to accord Use of Library the status of a fully developed GENERAL STUDIES (GES) course with extreme units was erect as the most meaningful factor confining effectiveness of consumer education programme through the Use of Library. Therefore, In order to increase seriousness with undergraduates in Faculty of Education in Universities and other bigger institutions mainly, it is advised that "Use of Library Course" be or freed from it the "Use of English Course" in the GES/GST/GNS 101 and have USE OF LIBRARY as a full-fledged course accompanying a high whole credit load. The curriculum bear also depend more of a practical approach than a simply theoretical/essay approach.
