A sustainable development method is required for infrastructure development handled by local governments, which begins with pre-construction and ends with the occupation of the building. Since the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, various sectors of society have been working to achieve sustainability in their own unique settings. Architects, town planners, and engineers were among the design consultants who contributed to the development planning process at various phases. As a result, local government employees should be more knowledgeable about sustainable development. As a result, the focus of this research is on the role of local governments in knowledge transfer methods for sustainable development. Another goal of the research is to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses, as well as other important elements, that help or hinder the implementation of Sustainable Development. The goal of this research is to add to the body of knowledge about the role of local governments in sustainable development.
