Application of ALS-IEC Theory and Its Effect on Persons Living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus | Chapter 1 | Disease and Health Research: New Insights Vol. 5

The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a worldwide health issue. Around 43.8 million people living with human immunodeficiency virus (PLHIV) from 2017 to 2021, 5.1 million people were not aware that they had the virus, and not all received anti-retroviral treatment (ART). The visible problems among persons living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are insufficiency of HIV information about the impact it will bring into their lives and non-compliance to treatment due to fear of disclosure. The need to enhance information about HIV through extensive health teaching and exemplary education modeling may help persons living with HIV (PLHIV) live with dignity and hope as children of God. The purpose of the study is to discover what substantive theory can be used to unearth variables such as active involvement in society, life change advocacy, life promotion, dignity, one finds oneself, sensitivity to one’s knowledge needs, and accountability and commitment to be safe which led to the development of “all loving support-information, education, and counseling theory. A mixed method embedded experimental design was used in testing the theory through a double-blind approach that quantified the grounded explored experiences of the participants. The qualitative participants were 20 in focus group discussion and the quantitative participants were 30 college students living with HIV, 18-24 years old, male, Christian, and currently enrolled in a college or university in the Davao region excluding those who are sick and admitted to the hospital. Pretest findings revealed that the participants were moderately informed about facts on HIV and moderately followed the course of treatment but after a series of tests (post-test after two weeks, after one month, and after two months), reported that they were totally informed about the facts on HIV and will strictly adhere to the therapy. The pretest and post-test scores on the level of awareness and medical compliance showed significant differences after a series of tests. Thus, the application of ALS-IEC theory is effective among persons living with HIV in assessing HIV awareness and drug adherence encompassing bio-psycho-sexual-social- cultural-spiritual domains. Continued use of the personalized health assessment will also offer a learning opportunity (information) through reading (education) and nurse-delivered counseling as extended care after HIV screening counseling will address the immediate needs of clients. The study shows the general population that PLHIV needs support from the government, people, and family to nurture individual self-awareness.

Application of ICT (Information Communication and Technology) towards Transformation of Regional Bureaucracy | Chapter 10 | Advances and Challenges in Science and Technology Vol. 9

This stage uses a case study of the application of ICT in Sidenreng Rappang Regency and allure effects on administrative transformation. The e-government policy in Sidenreng Rappang Regency in addition to the development of data processing will give a new face and hope for the production of better governance. Digital metamorphosis approaches outside the public sector are changeful citizens' anticipations of governments' ability to deliver extreme-value, actual-time digital duties. In addition to promoting campaigns, digital management should within financial means actively engage all by promoting the use of facts, communication, and technology (ICT) in a range of public aids, particularly taking everything in mind the COVID-19 pandemic. The rapid incident of technology has altered the paradigm of public service and government, from being hierarchical to open and flexible, for fear that it has an impact on administrative culture and the acceleration of administrative transformation in administration. The results showed that the application of the ICT method aims to improve public aids that are fast, cheap and effective, effective, and responsive. Besides that, the request of the ICT system can also generate a transparent administration, so that government ventures can be accessed by all taxpayers. In other studies that are concentrated on efforts to achieve see-through government. The main factor that affects is project-formed activities, place structural officials have extreme responsiveness for fear that they can have a positive influence on bureaucratic shift.

On the Origin of Reality: How We Create Our Own World | Chapter 6 | Current Perspective to Physical Science Research Vol. 2

Consider the following: A chemist studying atoms, is a group of atoms learning themselves. A strange way of looking at phenomenon. To understand, we should travel through the world of the infinitesimal, ruled by rules and laws, various from the ones we know from our classic world. We should enter the realm of information.Max Born created the calculation problem accompanying his statistical understanding of the quantum machinelike wave-function: the strange connection 'tween the collapse of a quantum machinelike wavefunction and measurement, observation, interplay with the atmosphere, with overhang into a single concrete phenomenon in a classical planet. Where a measurement or observation designs the relevant past annals, John Wheeler’s eye.The universe urges for an increase in entropy and information processing. This increase form the universe a scurrying place where growth such as ours can arise. The biochemistry of all growth we know, has an essential fundamental property as the sole reefs in the known world succeeding in keeping its own deterioration low: existence is capable of violating the second standard of thermodynamics. Life manages for fear that equally dispersion of matter and energy in which case all biochemical processes stop and existence ends. Growing old and dying, for each solely living thing on Earth, wealth being not able anymore to maintain its entropy depressed, leading to a breakdown in the biochemical machinery, failing fundamental processes, wear and eventually death. Keeping its deterioration low, is a fundamental property of life.Entropy details a system on a tiny level and is closely related to facts, the Shannon entropy, linked to as Infotropy. They are 2 parts of the same coin, closely belonging to the statistics commanding the rules of the universe. An average human physique contains about 7 octillion (a 7 with 27 zeros) atoms and they all ‘see’ exactly what commotion and how to interact. Hidden webs of news guide the atoms and molecules in their biochemical backlashes, while obeying the strange societies of quantum physics: each chemical and biochemical response depends on the interplay of electrons. This all is guided by ideas between and news streams and exchange in the subsystems of the cellular machinery. The universe caused brains, so reason can’t the universe itself be a giant super intelligence. All we call real is compensated out of belongings which cannot be considered as authentic. Our senses are biochemical measuring tools in our interaction with the atmosphere. They don’t serve to tell us reality but to help us to survive. Their news is interpreted in the intelligence as a ‘reality vital to history.’ The brain holds a mask indicating position reality behind that the real world, the world of news and quanta lies secret. The qubits, the quantum information that constitutes the universe, do not mean anything concrete, but are reconstructed by biochemical projection and affecting animate nerve organs interpretation into obvious reality, as electrical circuits and spreadsheet do in constructing a 3D virtual reality. The deepest coating of reality exists out of information. Information is the component of the universe, even though a qubit is not a physical object but contains facts about the physical object. Information is palpable and has to obey tangible laws.Consciousness, emerging from the exchange of facts via synthetic and electrical signals, allowing existence to have a notion or knowledge of its environment, is the image of a world depression biochemical information bulge and neural interpretation. The intelligence, the most complex piece of matter in the famous universe, creates existence.Which brings us to the question: How can we likely know what there is nothingness, if we ourselves, are locked up deficient darkness in a small box.

Looting as Vocation: Rule of Law to Characterize a Regime as a Democracy| Chapter 7 | Research Aspects in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 5

A governmental regime characterized by restricted government and offsetting competences may satisfy various institutional models of democracy. The rise of the Putin regime in Russia forces us to theorize the act of economic moti- vation as robbing. We find it in all dictatorships, e.g., Burma. The giant economic economy enhances the private prospects of gutting, especially in independent societies. In a democracy senators and bureaucrats are openly paid a established salary together with strict rules about all and private. In looting, things are completely different.

Frequent Itemsets: Fuzzy Data from Multiple Datasets | Chapter 4 | Novel Research Aspects in Mathematical and Computer Science Vol. 5

Data warehousing and data mining processes rely heavily on the implementation of association rule mining. In order to bolster this claim, the study suggests a model that retrieves frequent itemsets from the database that are arranged in the form of star schema tabular database structures and has a fuzzy taxonomic structure at the backend. The study's goal was to create a new method from an existing one that uses fuzzy association rule-based mining in databases using ER models. The focus of the study is on the extraction of linguistic algorithm rules at multilevel structures in the form of tables from various databases in order to comprehend the functionality of these retrieved data item sets. The suggested data mining algorithm's operation is illustrated by an example in the conclusion. It may be used to quickly and easily generate multi-level fuzzy rules that are relevant to association mining techniques.

Do Technological Service Encounters Assist or Perplex the User? Exploring the 'Information Richness' of Web-based Self-Service Technologies | New Visions in Science and Technology Vol. 5

Rather than relying solely on face-to-face contacts, service organisations now use Self-Service Technologies to provide their services remotely (SSTs). This trend is a natural result of technological advancement, and it will eventually become the norm for many future service transactions. Customers can currently choose between using SSTs or visiting a physical location for service, but humanoid robots are expected to someday replace customer service representatives. As a result, service businesses must prepare their customers for such a future. Customers usually use self-service technologies when the company's service professionals are unavailable. To ensure that SSTs run efficiently and successfully, they should provide suitable guidelines and instructions. Customers would be irritated if SSTs did not have the information they needed to complete their transactions. As a result, the type of the data is important to the success of online self-service transactions. From the standpoint of customers, this study tries to comprehend the information richness in online-based self-service technologies. Semi-structured interviews with 25 SST users were conducted using a qualitative technique. 'Relevance, timeliness, correctness, clarity, consistency, sufficiency, and simplicity,' according to the study, are seven essential elements that determine the information richness of online-based SST platforms. The study raises awareness of the importance of information richness in the acceptability of online-based self-service technologies while also giving service providers practical advice on how to develop SSTs with rich information to support consumers' successful service performance.

Time, Entropy and Structuredness in Biological Systems and Their Dynamics in the Process of Development and Evolution | Chapter 2 | New Visions in Biological Science Vol. 3

One of the most obvious expressions of time's one-pointedness and direction in modern science is evolution. Algorithmic complexity, like Shannon's information and Boltzmann's entropy, tends to increase according to the general law of complication, as we saw earlier. This propensity influences the time and evolution's trajectory. However, because of many laws of nature that form varied structures, the algorithmic complexity of most material systems does not reach its maximum, i.e., a chaotic state. Such structures have a different difficulty than algorithms, and I offer a method for calculating structural complexity, which I call structuredness. Stable, dissipative, and post-dissipative structures all play a role in the structure of any material system. Dissipative structures, either directly or indirectly, are defined as stable structures. The emergence of such structures can trigger "ratchet" processes that control structuregenesis in both inanimate and living systems. The entropy capacity of a system determines the system's structuregenesis (maximal structuredness). For simple systems, the size of the system determines this capacity, which is equal to the maximum entropy (the number of its elements). The number of types of elements, the number of levels of the structural hierarchy, and the thickness of the temporal structure of the system may all affect the entropy capacity in more complex scenarios. The temporal structure of biological systems, particularly highly organised ones like eukaryotes and multicellular organisms, is complicated and even 2-dimensional. Entropy capacity gains another dimension as biological time becomes two-dimensional. The use of complex numbers to represent biological time allows us to use the same dynamic equation to model both organisms' exponential development and their periodic physiological activities. Finally, at a complex time, I consider the dynamics of internal entropy in living organisms.

Entropy, Information, and Complexity or Which Aims the Arrow of Time? Scientific Explanation| Chapter 1 | New Visions in Biological Science Vol. 3

In this paper, we examine the interrelationships between concepts like entropy, information, complexity, order, and chaos, and explain how to generalise the second law of thermodynamics as a law of growing generalised entropy or a general law of complification using the theory of categories. This law can be applied to any morphism-based system, including our entire universe and its subsystems. We'll talk about how such a general law, as well as other natural laws, drive the history of the cosmos, including physicochemical and biological evolutions. Furthermore, we identify removing selection in physicochemical evolution as a simplified model of natural selection. By forming structures, the laws of nature do not enable complexity and entropy to reach their maximum values. They could be thought of as a kind of "breeder" of this type of selection. The growth in entropy, information, degrees of freedom, and complexity, all of which increase monotonically with regard to each other, is a measure of time's irreversibility.

Investigating the Problems Facing Computerization of Records in Secondary Schools in JOS, Nigeria | Chapter 5 | New Visions in Science and Technology Vol. 2

The study investigates the problems that have occurred as a result of the computerization of records in a few Jos secondary schools, as well as the vulnerability of the current manual data processing to human errors. Observations performed during physical visits to the schools' computer laboratories, questionnaires, and personal interviews with chosen school Information and Communication Technology (ICT) staff were used to gather data. Those who took part in the study included administrators and information technology workers. Seven private schools, one Federal Government College, one Federal Command Secondary School, one State Government-owned school, and one Federal Government College were used in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. The most significant hindrance to the computerization of academic records in schools, according to the research, is a lack of finance. The purchase of proprietary School Management application packages is heavily influenced by funding.

An Introduction to the Concept of Immanence as a Physical Quantity: An Approach towards Information & Effect | Chapter 2 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 14

The physical quantity of immanence is introduced and applied, allowing for a more full comprehension of effect. In mathematical formulations, the complementary co-factors of information and immanence are presented as the source and result of the thermodynamic effect, respectively. As a result, the concept of immanence helps to clarify the relationship between the concepts of information and reality, and leads to the derivative of the principle of immanence development, which may be applied to astrophysical problems like the information paradox (i.e., the question of information loss regarding black holes).

Life as Interplay of Information and Matter | Chapter 11 | Recent Research Advances in Biology Vol. 11

By changing the alphabet and/or encoding, any sequence can be turned into an equivalent one. As a result, information should be described as the equivalence class among sequences with regard to such changes, an abstract entity, rather than a specific sequence. Its ‘information message,' defined as the shortest binary sequence in this class, whose length quantitatively measures the information, can be used to describe it. Information connects the abstract and the concrete by requiring a physical medium to carry any sequence. Random symbol errors are caused by perturbations in the physical world, whereas information can command the assembly of physical objects by the computer. the task Because old sections of the genome are better preserved, genomic error-correcting codes are constructed up of nested component codes. This model takes into account core life characteristics such as the requirement for successive generations, the existence of discrete species with hierarchical taxonomy, and the evolution of complexity. Enzymes regulate gene transcription and translation into polypeptidic chains, which then fold into proteins. As a result, a feedback loop is formed, which is referred to as "semantic" since it implements the genetic code that explains the meaning of the genes. When the door is shut, As a result of its semantic specificity and redundancy, it has the power to remedy errors. As a result, stopping semantic feedback loops does not stop evolution: new structures can be added with better error resilience. Regeneration failure is uncommon, but it does result in a vastly altered genome, which can lead to the emergence of a new species if the phenotype it specifies survives Darwinian selection. It is offered a scenario for the origin of semantic feedback loops (and thus, possibly, life).

Emphasizing the Navigation in Space-Time as the Basis for Information Modeling | Chapter 9 | New Ideas Concerning Science and Technology Vol. 9

The author's definition of world knowledge modelling is presented in this article, which is focused on the central function of solar navigation (orientation in space-time by the sun). The idea arose from extensive research into the key trends of knowledge resource usage (semiotics) by humans when exploring the natural world of geographical space. The monuments of ancient material culture in European Russia and Southern Siberia served as the study's subjects. Survey, definition, observation, work with maps and Earth remote sensing, as well as statistical, conceptual modelling, and mapping methods, are all used in applied field research. Theoretical research is founded on V.I. Paranin's methodological claims of historical geography, as well as his theory of reflection and systematic and chorological approach.

Critical Study on Disseminating Information on COVID-19 to Rural Dwellers through Translation: A Panacea to COVID-19 Spread | Chapter 5 | New Horizons in Education and Social Studies Vol. 8

The World Health Organization has declared the ravaging coronavirus a pandemic (WHO). Its spread and mortality rates are troubling. There is no solution yet to exacerbate matters, but clinical trials are on-going. The only safeguard to minimize the effects of the pandemic is to stick to the precautionary measures outlined by health experts for developing countries such as Nigeria: physical distancing, wearing facemasks, using sanitizers, improving personal hygiene and avoiding social gatherings. If the effect is to be reduced or contained, COVID-19 data needs to reach all Nigerians regardless of their position or level of literacy. Nigeria is a multilingual society, so information on COVID-19 must be made accessible to all language groups, especially those in rural areas. This paper addresses the dissemination by translation to rural dwellers of knowledge on COVID-19. The Igbo people in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria are the subject here. The paper discusses translation and terminology, then proceeds to provide the Igbo version of such words associated with COVID-19, using various term development methods such as equivalence, composition, naturalization, idiomatic expressions and explanatory modulation. With these, it is possible for rural Igbo speakers to grasp what COVID-19 is all about, the potential risks and the precautionary steps to be taken to reduce mortality. Some proposals have also been made to promote the containment of the pandemic.
