An Analysis of Feminine Delicacy and Strength in Kamala Das’s Poetry | Chapter 5 | Language, Literature and Education: Research Updates Vol. 6

Indian social system have been exploited and swindled by males but as education spread feminist movements emerged and have supported women's liberation from numerous problems created by males. This awareness has been realized by many educated Indian women writers. Kamala Das, one of the pioneers of post-independence feminist poets, explores themes of feminine consciousness, love, identity, desire and social tyranny in her poetry. Her work breaks conventional norms offering an intimate portrayal of female experiences. Kamala Das has tried to emphasize her feminine identity and her personal identity. Through her poetry, she challenges patriarchal constraints and cuddles female sexuality. Major themes of Kamala Das's poetry are her quest for love and her failure to find fulfillment in love in life. Her poems may just as well be the poetry of resistance. This chapter delves into the feminist essence of Kamal Das's poetry, analyzing how her poetic genius embodies the struggle and resilience voice of women in a patriarchal culture.

EEG Spectral Reaction Mapping to Binocular Flash Stimulation for Detecting Epileptic Foci and their Relation with Consciousness Disorders | Chapter 1 | Achievements and Challenges of Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 1

Objective: The objective of the study is to find a method evidencing characteristic patterns of Epilepsy in patients with rare clinical or EEG manifestations.

Methods: The present study recommends the utilization of binocular Flash stimulation (0.6 Ws, 20 sec, 1c/sec) and the EEG Spectral Reaction Mapping (SRM) for the diagnosis of Epilepsy. SRM is obtained by comparing (%) the results of partial EEG Power analysis in conditions of Flash stimulation and Rest (eyes closed). 100 epileptics and 100 non-epileptic subjects (50 normal and 50 vascular disease subjects) were put under investigation. Recordings were done with scalp electrodes in the 10-20 International System. Power analysis was made in Source Derivation.

Results: This imagistic method revealed in 91% of 100 epileptics clear-cut cortical areas of enhanced excitability (Delta+Theta/Alpha+Beta coefficient increase). In change, in 50 vascular patients, the same coefficient power was decreased (t= 15.1, p< 0.0001). The difference was relatively lower considering normal EEG power values (t=6.5, p<0.001). In a lot of cases, epileptic foci activation was associated with a diminished reaction to flash of the visual occipital areas. A comparative study of the EEG SRM aspect and VEP morphology was made in order to disclose the pathologic findings.

Discussion: The accurate evidence by SRM of epileptic foci is based on the development in these foci of the slow unspecific components of VEPs. Sensory areas, activated by the primary cognitive visual pathway sooner, would attract the nonspecific VEP components in their definite areas. It is considered, by comparing EEG SRMs with the average Visual Evoked Potentials (VEPs) components analysis, that highly excited epileptic foci may attract the nonspecific (reticular--limbic) activation, from the primary sensory areas generating Consciousness disorders.

Conclusion: EEG SRM is a reliable method for the diagnosis of epilepsy. It is also able to reveal the origin of mental disorders associated with epilepsy.

Consciousness as the Final Beacon of Humanity | Chapter 8 | Recent Research Advances in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 5

This chapter critically questions the claim that there would be possibility of emulating human consciousness and consciousness-dependent activity by Artificial Intelligence to create conscious artificial systems. The analysis is based on neurophysiological research and theory. In-depth scrutiny of the field and the prospects for converting neuroscience research into the type of algorithmic programs utilized in computer-based AI systems to create artificially conscious machines leads to conclude that such a conversion is unlikely to ever be possible because of the complexity of unconscious and conscious brain processing and their interaction. It is through the latter that the brain opens the doors to consciousness, a property of the human mind that no other living species has developed for reasons that are made clear in this chapter. As a consequence, many of the projected goals of AI will remain forever unrealizable.  Although this work does not directly examine the question within a philosophy of mind framework by, for example, discussing why identifying consciousness with the activity of electronic circuits is first and foremost a category mistake in terms of scientific reasoning, the approach offered in the chapter is complementary to this standpoint, and illustrates various aspects of the problem under a monist from-brain-to-mind premise.

Enabling Adults with Learning Disabilities to Realise a Fuller Potential Using Toning and Energy Field Alignment to Access the Higher Intuitive Abilities beyond the Intellect | Chapter 2 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 5

The alternative methods of toning and strength field alignment offers a radical approach for clients accompanying learning disability and complex needs.  An clarification of the human energy field (electromagnetic field) that surrounds and filters the physical body, serves to increase knowledge of the multidimensional type of human consciousness and its affect health and restorative.  Therapeutic intervention of toning and strength field alignment increases forceful flow within the subtle strength system to advance a state of coherence. This process facilitates approach to the higher instinctive pathways beyond the cognitive skills.  In this way, clients are capable to realise an optimum potential.  Three detailed case studies legalize the efficacy concerning this approach where medication is lowered, communication helps, confidence is restored, and amiability is increased.

Locke and Personal Identity | Chapter 6 | Recent Research Advances in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 1

John Locke reviews the idea of a distinct self and the maintenance of consciousness following in position or time death. The definition of a private identity across period is provided. Insofar as it is feasible, aforementioned a criteria describes the necessities that must be met orderly for people to survive. According to John Locke, cognitive continuity decides one's personal correspondence. He believed that the foundation of individual's personal similarity, or "self," was awareness, namely memory, rather than the entity of either the soul or the body. We endure in this essay, that the criterion of private identity for Locke is not thought but consciousness. Therefore, for Locke, memory rest on knowledge of the alike consciousness.

On the Origin of Reality: How We Create Our Own World | Chapter 6 | Current Perspective to Physical Science Research Vol. 2

Consider the following: A chemist studying atoms, is a group of atoms learning themselves. A strange way of looking at phenomenon. To understand, we should travel through the world of the infinitesimal, ruled by rules and laws, various from the ones we know from our classic world. We should enter the realm of information.Max Born created the calculation problem accompanying his statistical understanding of the quantum machinelike wave-function: the strange connection 'tween the collapse of a quantum machinelike wavefunction and measurement, observation, interplay with the atmosphere, with overhang into a single concrete phenomenon in a classical planet. Where a measurement or observation designs the relevant past annals, John Wheeler’s eye.The universe urges for an increase in entropy and information processing. This increase form the universe a scurrying place where growth such as ours can arise. The biochemistry of all growth we know, has an essential fundamental property as the sole reefs in the known world succeeding in keeping its own deterioration low: existence is capable of violating the second standard of thermodynamics. Life manages for fear that equally dispersion of matter and energy in which case all biochemical processes stop and existence ends. Growing old and dying, for each solely living thing on Earth, wealth being not able anymore to maintain its entropy depressed, leading to a breakdown in the biochemical machinery, failing fundamental processes, wear and eventually death. Keeping its deterioration low, is a fundamental property of life.Entropy details a system on a tiny level and is closely related to facts, the Shannon entropy, linked to as Infotropy. They are 2 parts of the same coin, closely belonging to the statistics commanding the rules of the universe. An average human physique contains about 7 octillion (a 7 with 27 zeros) atoms and they all ‘see’ exactly what commotion and how to interact. Hidden webs of news guide the atoms and molecules in their biochemical backlashes, while obeying the strange societies of quantum physics: each chemical and biochemical response depends on the interplay of electrons. This all is guided by ideas between and news streams and exchange in the subsystems of the cellular machinery. The universe caused brains, so reason can’t the universe itself be a giant super intelligence. All we call real is compensated out of belongings which cannot be considered as authentic. Our senses are biochemical measuring tools in our interaction with the atmosphere. They don’t serve to tell us reality but to help us to survive. Their news is interpreted in the intelligence as a ‘reality vital to history.’ The brain holds a mask indicating position reality behind that the real world, the world of news and quanta lies secret. The qubits, the quantum information that constitutes the universe, do not mean anything concrete, but are reconstructed by biochemical projection and affecting animate nerve organs interpretation into obvious reality, as electrical circuits and spreadsheet do in constructing a 3D virtual reality. The deepest coating of reality exists out of information. Information is the component of the universe, even though a qubit is not a physical object but contains facts about the physical object. Information is palpable and has to obey tangible laws.Consciousness, emerging from the exchange of facts via synthetic and electrical signals, allowing existence to have a notion or knowledge of its environment, is the image of a world depression biochemical information bulge and neural interpretation. The intelligence, the most complex piece of matter in the famous universe, creates existence.Which brings us to the question: How can we likely know what there is nothingness, if we ourselves, are locked up deficient darkness in a small box.

Fundamentals of Yoga Meditation: Physical and Mental Benefits | Chapter 7 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 5

Yoga is a psycho-somatic-spiritual discipline for achieving union and harmony between our mind, body, and soul and the ultimate union of our individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. There are certain elements of meditation which should be achieved before sitting for meditation and are described. Transcendental meditation (TM) is one of the techniques of meditation, which involves allowing the mind to dwell on a series of words (called a mantra) given by the meditation teacher, with no effort. If the attention wanders it is allowed to wander till it returns to the mantra. A mantra is a sacred word or phrase that is chanted repeatedly in order to alter one's state of mind and have miraculous religious and spiritual effects on the mind. When mantras are recited during meditation, people enter a higher state of consciousness. It is believed that chanting mantras opens the gates to the absolute. The sound of mantras is associated with a state of tranquil meditation which generates calmness, quietness, and peace in the mind and relaxes the muscles and tones the nervous system and becomes the cause for lowering blood pressure, heart rate, and rate of breath. This creates brain waves which deal with stress and its consequences. The opinion of several yoga masters and distinguished medical experts who worked on meditation for decades is expressed.

The Role of Consciousness in Energy Healing Therapies | Chapter 10 | Current Overview on Disease and Health Research Vol. 11

Healing healings are a collection of techniques used to transfer active 'bioenergy' to others so that restore physical, insane, and emotional balance. It is main for the healer to donate entity—specifically, something caused by his biological absorption. Additionally, the energy presented by your metabolism is thought expected helpful for the improvement of patients based on your material, mental, and moving wellness. However, due to the patient's weak receptivity and the "cruel" quality of the energy expected transfused, healing still frequently fails to happen. However, in most cases it depends not only on the physician and also on the receiver, but generally on other shamans, such as higher order Consciousnesses. In fact, in many cases of restorative the effect is almost immediate with just the healer's 'drawing energy', particularly in painful crises. These analyses have a well-established track record of restorative success. It is a output for regenerating cells that may repair tissues and means quickly, that frequently results in the recovery of the patient's well-being and wellbeing. The purpose concerning this study is to provide a brief survey of the ancestors of Asian [Chinese, Japanese, and Indian] reflective energies, with an importance on the role of knowledge and the healer in therapeutic invasions. It also climaxes the similarities between these strengthes and the energy popular as "ectoplasm" from the previous century and enacts links with the currently elected ultra-feeble emission of photons. In addition, ideas based on quantum holography and statistical theory about information processing were raised in this place. Finally, a bibliographic search was done in an English-language table, and new ideas about the function of knowledge and the healer in healing medicines were presented.

Healing and the Chakra System | Chapter 12 | Research Developments in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 5

In this item, I bring forward what is famous in the "spiritual industry" that it has immediately become a various take on the chakra arrangement than anyone different in the industry is talking about. This is direct response from summit hosts interviewing me among many others on this problem, as well as individual of the key yogic gurus to bring yoga from India to the West, the first to open the first Holistic Health & Yoga Center in the United States, proverb that I have a "caliber of knowledge" that appreciates the wisdom of this old wisdom, whilst capable to translate it to a Western hearing in a functional habit. Please do know that chakras are not a "of a broad-ranging consciousness-raising movement" phenomena; instead they are a deep erudition, developed from 5k age of ancient insight. Every yoga posture is designed to open the prana - or u.s. city - within that chakra, which is reason you feel better from a yoga class. Additionally, this article is inscribed with the desire for family to appreciate that it's no person simple YouTube video, e.g., of sound healing for the chakra, and then that chakra is well-off. Instead, the chakra column is ultimate reliable system from what or which place to work within one's mind, body & essence system, to two together assess the blockage and therefore be able to clear it accompanying energy cure, healing the obstruction, rather than only increasing the flow, as mention acupuncture does.

Giussani’s Experiential Approach to Consciousness and Neuroscience | Chapter 1 | Recent Progress in Science and Technology Vol. 6

The idea of knowledge has happened at the center of modern idea because Descartes systematized it accompanying welcome legendary statement: "cogito for that reason total" (I judge so I am). The rebellious figure of Descartes is the introduction in the base of the reflective discourse of the "first life" a suggestion of correction the awe for the Cosmos. The relation betwixt subject and body, in addition to knowledge and the intelligence, performs to still be far from being assumed.  Every attempts to reduce knowledge and liable to be subjected the mind finishes up in repealing the subject, that is what is evidently most appropriate for each of us. Luigi Giussani unites accompanying clearness and loyalty to the enlightening critical juncture of novelty and intends a system to study human consciousness established the study of being private happening, provable by every human. His approach is however entirely understandable and available any recommendation from the field of neuroscience and additional controlled research. Giussani's approach is distinguished to the fundamental premise that underlies differing up-to-date neuroscientific conceptions of knowledge. The approach Giussani desires power be a part of a standard and widely approved framework for future growth and betterings in research on the connection middle from two points the mind and human knowledge, which is our civilization's most urgent issue.

Cognitive Action Theory: An Overview| Chapter 6| Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 12

The lack of physically plausible mind/body models has made it difficult to include a conscious 1st person observer in scientific ideas. I'll offer a model of an integrated mind/body system based on Cognitive Action Theory (Baer 2020) that identifies the process of creating conscious experience as the fundamental building block of reality. This building block is a cyclic temporal mechanism that connects the first-person experience with its 3d-person physical models, allowing for conscious phenomena. To enable the establishment of such a fundamental building block, we propose a paradigm shift in which we see what we do to be conscious as an a-priory action that must be occurring in order for us to be able to ask, "How can conscious creatures exist in our physical world?" This move necessitates first questioning, "How does a conscious being's recollection of a physical world exist?"The physical formulation of a conscious being as a self-contained action cycle with mental and physical phases results from the response to this question, which is known as Conscious Action Theory (CAT). This activity combines qualia and their explanation to create a self-measuring explanatory cycle, as defined by physicist Archibald Wheeler [1,2]. Such a cycle of activity, at this level of abstraction, can support any belief system that defines physical reality as an explanation for personal experience, and so create a framework that accommodates both scientific and spiritual traditions. Visualizing an abstract action like mass and charge mobility is difficult.permits us to connect our work to classical and quantum physics frameworks. When the motions involved are modest enough to be reversible, such a theory unifies the subjective and objective aspects of our experience in a single physical framework, reducing to linear quantum formalism [3,4].

The Anatomy of the Human Mind – The Cultural Consciousness and the Existential Consciousness Inherent in the Human Brain | Chapter 6 | Modern Perspectives in Language, Literature and Education Vol. 6

Human existence is marked by linked gestures of survival and identity. The most crucial layer of consciousness, or existential struggle, survival, and identity crisis, dives into the structures of the human being's built mind. A human being is mostly built through the realms of society and cultural standards, and a human being's consciousness is determined by how the being reacts to particular life experiences. The survival and identity of human beings, with reference to post feminism and existential feminism, is treated with precision through Woolf's characters, in order to bring in the ideology of balance in absurdity. The power struggle is eliminated by existence in the wilderness and intellect gained via power. The architecture of the human brain is studied in order to comprehend the human mind's deficiency and existing structures. The societal fight to live and behaviour changes are conveyed through the characters in the novels under discussion, with behavioural psychology as the intended ideology.

Emphasizing Ethnocentrism and Nation. Reflection on Blocking Factors the Birth of the African Subject | Chapter 6 | New Horizons in Education and Social Studies Vol. 8

In order to classify the worlds of significance that they contain and examine their importance in the construction of the country, the article challenges the principles of ethnocentrism and nation. Obstacles stretch this path from the perspective of this construction, and prevent the birth of the African subject, the very one who is the main. The object of the article is to provide the necessary instruments for the development of a national conscience, a pledge to reinforce the patriotic bond and citizenship. The nation can not be established without the contribution of all ethnic identities in the current configurations of African "states." And if, as Victor Hugo has well pointed out, "opening a school is closing a prison," the school must be the crucible from which the so-called change of mindset will begin, a comprehensive reform of both the republic's institutions and educational programs that must take Africa's realities into account and adapt to the world's challenges today. It is unlikely for the young African republics to become nations and to embark on the road of emergence without this national consciousness.
