3TW Model for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning Experiences in the Digital Era | Chapter 22 | Digital Crossroads: Integrating Humanities, Science and Technology Edition 1

Introduction: The Education system is undergoing rapid change which emphasizes more on teaching through technology. The advances in the digital era demand that teachers should not only possess different pedagogical skills but should also be able to adapt to technological innovation. This adaptation is important for the enhancement of teaching and learning experiences in the digital era. The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4) focuses more on inclusivity, and quality education for all and it has been observed that there is a digital divide between those who have access to technology and those who are left behind. According to the Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM), 2023 UNESCO focuses on the appropriate use of technology to promote equality, equity, access and inclusion which is completely based on the teachers' preparedness which includes teachers being well-equipped with the necessary ICT skills, adopting the new technological tools. It also states that only 54% of the countries have good standards of digital skills, and many students do not have much access to digital technology in schools, even in the richest countries in the world where only 10% of 15-year-old students use digital devices and lastly teachers are often unprepared and lack confidence in teaching ICT in the classroom. It is also observed that teachers are stressed as well as overloaded with administrative tasks, lack ICT skills and find it difficult to meet the needs of the diverse learners which if not met adversely affects their well-being. The purpose of this paper is to integrate technology with the teaching methodology through the 3TW model (Technology, teaching pedagogy and teachers’ well-being). This model highlights the different ICT tools and the teaching methodology which the teachers can use with ease in their classroom teaching. This model aims at integrating digital resources in the classroom which will help the teachers in teaching, and assessment as well as provide a healthy learning environment and enable more teacher-student interaction. To conclude, the proposed 3TW model addresses the necessary ICT skills, and innovative teaching methodology as well as ensuring teachers’ well-being. By adopting this model, educators can be well-equipped to meet the demands of the students of the digital era.

Enhancing Happiness through Mindfulness, Gratitude, and Journaling: Insights from a Student Study | Chapter 11 | Digital Crossroads: Integrating Humanities, Science and Technology Edition 1

This study investigates the impact of daily activities, relationships, mindfulness, gratitude, and journaling practices on happiness and overall well-being, proposing key influences in each area. We focus on four main hypotheses: Hypothesis 1 posit that daily activities and relationships significantly affect happiness ratings; Hypothesis 2 suggests that mindfulness practices enhance mental well-being; Hypothesis 3 indicates a correlation between gratitude practice and improved mood and overall well-being; and Hypothesis 4 anticipates that journaling positively contributes to nurturing happiness. This manuscript explores how targeted practices impact personal well-being. This manuscript examines the roles of dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, evaluating their correlation with self-reported happiness, relationship satisfaction, and mindfulness outcomes. The study evaluates practices such as gratitude journaling, mindfulness exercises, and effective time management strategies to gauge their influence on students' focus, mood, and life satisfaction. Additionally, we examine the relationship quality's effect on happiness and whether mindfulness fosters mental resilience and relaxation. A structured course called "Happiness & Well-Being (22MN6HS103)" at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, with 153 students did the study to find out how certain practices affect student's mental and physical health.

Key findings reveal that gratitude journaling, mindfulness exercises, and effective time management strategies significantly influence students' focus, mood, and life satisfaction. Additionally, relationship quality plays a vital role in happiness, while mindfulness fosters mental resilience and relaxation. Biological factors, including dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, were examined to understand their correlation with self-reported happiness, relationship satisfaction, and mindfulness outcomes.

The study's significance extends beyond the academic setting, offering broader implications for educational policy, mental health strategies, and future research on integrating structured well-being practices into daily routines. It highlights the transformative potential of targeted interventions to enhance students' happiness and overall well-being, paving the way for a more holistic approach to education and mental health.

Thriving on Emotional Intelligence for Enhancing Equitable Higher Education Institutions | Chapter 8 | Contemporary Issues of Business and Management: The Proceedings of the 10th International Conference on Business and Management Dynamics (ICBMD), Edition 1

The study highlights academics’ potential to appraise, regulate, and utilise their emotions effectively when encountering stressors brought about by adversity. Respondents indicate that the HR department should proactively foster evidence-based, relevant, and academic-specific HR data-driven approaches. Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in addressing economic inequality thereby contributing to a supportive and inclusive academic environment. Emotionally intelligent academics are better equipped to understand and empathise with diverse experiences and challenges faced by peers, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. By promoting a culture of empathy, collaboration, and fairness, universities can empower academics to reach their full potential and reduce economic inequality. A quantitative approach was utilised and a sample size of 360 academics from a population of 1226 was drawn from five campus sites at the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa using Stratified Random Sampling. Recommendations amongst others, for fueling academic emotional intelligence proposed for higher education, consist of, fostering an emotionally intelligent organisation and policy formulation through equity, diversity and inclusion.

Impact of Job Stress on Psychological Distress, Cardiovascular Risk, Gastrointestinal Symptoms, and Musculoskeletal Pain in Professionals: A Cross-sectional Study | Chapter 5 | Recent Research Advances in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 4

Introduction: Job-related stress has become a critical concern due to its detrimental effects on both mental and physical health. This study investigates the correlations between job stress, mental health outcomes and physical pain outcomes in professionals from various industries.

Methodology: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted with 400 participants. We utilised validated instruments to measure job stress, mental health outcomes, and physical pain outcomes. Statistical analysis employed regression analysis to examine the relationships between job stress and health outcomes.

Results: Job stress was positively associated with all mental health and physical pain outcomes. Burnout emerged as the strongest predictor of mental health issues, while job stress directly contributed to all three physical pain types.

Limitations: The cross-sectional design limits causal inferences. Future longitudinal studies can strengthen the understanding of these relationships. The relatively small sample size might affect the generalizability of findings.

Conclusion: This study provides evidence for the significant interplay between job stress, mental health, and physical pain. Workplace interventions targeting stress reduction and burnout prevention are crucial to promote employee well-being and combat the harmful effects of job stress.

Healing and the Chakra System | Chapter 12 | Research Developments in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 5

In this item, I bring forward what is famous in the "spiritual industry" that it has immediately become a various take on the chakra arrangement than anyone different in the industry is talking about. This is direct response from summit hosts interviewing me among many others on this problem, as well as individual of the key yogic gurus to bring yoga from India to the West, the first to open the first Holistic Health & Yoga Center in the United States, proverb that I have a "caliber of knowledge" that appreciates the wisdom of this old wisdom, whilst capable to translate it to a Western hearing in a functional habit. Please do know that chakras are not a "of a broad-ranging consciousness-raising movement" phenomena; instead they are a deep erudition, developed from 5k age of ancient insight. Every yoga posture is designed to open the prana - or u.s. city - within that chakra, which is reason you feel better from a yoga class. Additionally, this article is inscribed with the desire for family to appreciate that it's no person simple YouTube video, e.g., of sound healing for the chakra, and then that chakra is well-off. Instead, the chakra column is ultimate reliable system from what or which place to work within one's mind, body & essence system, to two together assess the blockage and therefore be able to clear it accompanying energy cure, healing the obstruction, rather than only increasing the flow, as mention acupuncture does.

Daily Life Support for and Widely Applicable Living Arrangement System under the Internet Environment: An Advanced Study | Chapter 11 | Recent Advances in Mathematical Research and Computer Science Vol. 3

As advanced studies on the communicariont facility from the standpoints of their beneficiaries and social infrastructure, some fundamental concepts and technology relating well-being systems are examined. In an ageing society, we primarily mention them in relation to the subjective demands of individual beneficiaries. Thus, in common tele-health scenarios, low-cost, simple equipment is discussed rather than surveillance of beneficiaries, with community-wide medicare providing security. However, a focus is placed on face-to-face communication and ease of use for beneficiaries, with options such as playing games for the less fortunate and dementia sufferers as examples. The same technology approach based on broadband is then stated to enable remote teleconferences and teleeducation for depopulated rural areas. Here, a simple technology is used in principle on the basis of its safety, reliability, and flexibility, reflecting previous technical achievements for the well-being of people, and the active use of the Internet environment for the wide provision of convenience and assistance in daily life on public benefits. In addition, various approaches for system management and software provisioning to start the computer from a distance are proposed. We give technical perspectives from our research on broad engineering concerns relevant to the development and practical use of basic Internet functionalities. As information and communication technology advances, appropriate systems for daily living, entertainment, guidance, health care, rehabilitation, nursing, and medicare are methodically designed. They allowed the recipients to not only seek neighbours for help in an emergency and obtain daily requirements, but also to conduct effective activities and communications in distant islands and/or depopulated areas where medical personnel may be scarce. In order to communicate bilaterally with beneficiaries, the suggested basic system's expanded functionalities are used for various systems, which are provided as concrete methods and apparatus to convey their relevant data. Important methods for everyday life assistance and rescue of a lonely living person with a life-threatening illness are realised in this study by combining an additional button-type computer with proposed communication techniques that do not require any complicated manipulation in an Internet environment.

Identity and Well-Being of Bulgarian Adolescents and Adults: Summarized Data for the Period 2002- 2018 | Chapter 9 | New Horizons in Education and Social Studies Vol. 3

Aim: Featuring identity and well-being of Bulgarian adolescents and adults and their preferred
adaptation pathways.
Study Design: Comparison of the results from two cross-sectional studies, completed in 2008 and
2018 with 703 Bulgarian volunteers in total, aged 18-60. The focus is the analysis of the adaptive
response to the experienced environment – as stable or unstable, supportive or restrictive.
Results: The general results reveal that there is no change in the distribution of the identity statuses
for a period, lasting more than a decade. Most of the volunteers prefer to postpone their stable
commitments and proceed to attain and reorganize their identity. Furthermore, this is not a result of
inner choice, but mainly adaptive response to the requirements and the restrictions of the context.
Environment, perceived as unstable and preventing strong commitments results in identity choices
postponement as most adaptive person-context transaction. The uncompleted transition period
promotes transitive identity statuses, postponement of stable commitments and continuous
exploration. For adolescence coherent to age development, more adaptive is active exploration,
whereas for adults adaptive is to support previous commitments, as they used to be beneficial in the
past.
Conclusion: When context is perceived as insecure and not supportive, this results in search for new
commitments or identity reorganization and perceived stress. In this sense, the main accent on
individual level is the adaptive feature of the identity statuses and coping strategies and their relations. Support for self-integration through the three steps of identity - self-knowledge, self-acceptance and self-expression - can facilitate identity reorganization. This is related to stress management as well. If person fails to employ enough adaptive strategies of reactive and proactive coping consecutively and coherently, the basic sense of self-authenticity and self-integration is compromised. The main conclusion is that promotion of self-reflection and successful reactive responses can transform into proactive behaviour and become a component of the optimal identity. This overall process can be learnt and implemented as a cognitive, emotional and behavioral mindfulness, based on self-reflection and active coping.
