The development of digital technologies, social changes, and
rapid economic dynamics has influenced individual financial management
behaviour, particularly among Generation Z and Millennial women in Indonesia.
The book Determinants of Financial Management Behaviour Among Generation Z and
Millennial Women aims to examine the main factors that influence financial
management behaviour among these two generations. The discussion focuses on
internal and external determinants, such as financial literacy, financial
attitudes, self-control, income, lifestyle, social environment influence, and
the role of financial technology. Through a conceptual and empirical approach,
this book explains how generational characteristics and differences in life
stages influence women's financial decision-making. The results of the study
show that the level of financial literacy and attitudes towards money play a
significant role in shaping responsible financial management behaviour, while
the influence of digitalisation and social media are strong differentiating
factors between Generation Z and Millennials. This book is expected to
contribute to the development of behavioural finance literature, serve as a
reference for academics and practitioners, and form the basis for the formulation
of more inclusive and gender-oriented financial education policies and programs
in Indonesia.
