The Role of Social Worker in High Schools: A Case Study from Thailand | Chapter 5 | Research Developments in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 5

The purpose of the current study is to define the function of social workers in Thai high schools. The social workers would rather address the psychological issues related to internet use among high school pupils in Pattani. Social workers have not yet been considered in Thailand to assist schools in assisting high school pupils who are struggling with Psychosocial Aspects and Academic Performance. The community, which consists of kids, school administrators, instructors, police officers, parents, and proprietors of internet cafes, requests that the community be investigated. Interviewees' responses are contrasted with high school pupils in Pattani's difficulties with social wellbeing and internet usage. Everyone questioned and talked about in focus groups agreed that social workers are necessary in Pattani schools. Social workers at the school can help high school students use the internet safely and are better at dealing with problems that develop as a consequence of internet use. The design of the study should compare two test groups. High school pupils should be compared to those who learn in the traditional way as well as those who study online.
