The process of determining and conveying to an employee how he or she is performing on the job, as well as developing a plan for improvement, is known as performance evaluation. Performance appraisal, when done correctly, not only informs employees about their performance but also determines their future level of effort and task directions. As a result, this paper collected data from research articles, policies, and other sources to develop a practical performance appraisal policy that provides an appropriate, clear, and consistent framework for assessing employees' performance in the context of work improvement, self-evaluation, and development planning.
