The Eeg Spectral Reaction Mapping: An Imagistic Method with Diagnostic Relevance | Chapter 16 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 4

We evidence in this place work an EEG Mapping procedure smart to reveal the common working mechanisms of the neocortex and their upset in pathology. The EEG capacity of Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta and th Delta+Theta/ Alpha + Beta power coefficients  are distinguished in prcentages between experiment and rest, between  0% and 250% (standard scales). The allotment of 100% means the lack of EEG reaction. Thus, Maps can be compared two together horizontally (middle from two points patients) and lonitudinally (at an unspecified future time). In comparison accompanying MRI, EEG Mapping does not need the use of magetic fields and radio waves, or the needle of a contrast material.
