A collection of metabolic illnesses collectively referred to as diabetes, or diabetes mellitus, are characterized by persistently elevated blood sugar levels. Individuals with this disease exhibit a variety of symptoms, including increased thirst, increased hunger, and frequent urination [1]. In these situations, prompt treatment is necessary because, if ignored, these symptoms might develop into more serious consequences such as retinopathy, neuropathy, and nephropathy, which would eventually cause harm to key organ functions [2]. A hyperglycemic condition, diabetic ketoacidosis, or even death are examples of serious consequences. Cardiovascular illness, stroke, chronic renal disease, foot ulcers, nerve damage, eye damage, and cognitive impairment are examples of serious long-term effects [3].
