The Eeg Spectral Reaction Mapping: An Imagistic Method with Diagnostic Relevance | Chapter 16 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 4

We evidence in this place work an EEG Mapping procedure smart to reveal the common working mechanisms of the neocortex and their upset in pathology. The EEG capacity of Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta and th Delta+Theta/ Alpha + Beta power coefficients  are distinguished in prcentages between experiment and rest, between  0% and 250% (standard scales). The allotment of 100% means the lack of EEG reaction. Thus, Maps can be compared two together horizontally (middle from two points patients) and lonitudinally (at an unspecified future time). In comparison accompanying MRI, EEG Mapping does not need the use of magetic fields and radio waves, or the needle of a contrast material.

Study on General Neurolinguistics and the Comprehension Ability | Chapter 04 | New Frontiers in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 11

General Neurolinguistics is intended to correspond to the major revision of General Semantics that Alfred Korzybski predicted would happen within 25 years of his death (1950), and that emerges naturally when the mental barrier erected by the unwarranted certainty that physical reality cannot be confirmed with certainty and cannot be objectively understood is removed. Surprisingly, the research that led to this revision began in the 1970s, well within Korzybski's expectations, even though it could not be fully documented and linked to the full set of required formal references until much later, due to the time it took to identify, locate, and correlate every major element of the solution that led to the current synthesis. Synopsis of General Neurolinguistics, followed by a summary of the General Semantics that it is intended to improve. Summary of the role of individual motivation, fueled by feelings of insecurity and the breadth of their personal general knowledge bases, in the formation of societal organisations throughout history. Summary of the reasons for the academic community's historical resistance to the introduction of new grounding paradigms that could have benefited society. Identification of the relationship between an individual's general knowledge base and their level of social awareness as a result of that knowledge. A synopsis of the comprehension process and the features of the neocortex, whose coordinated employment facilitates the acquisition of objective knowledge.

Relating the Comprehension Ability to the Neocortex Verbal Areas: A Brief Study | Chapter 15 | New Visions in Biological Science Vol. 1

The goal of this article is to summarise how Donald Hebb's discoveries regarding how the neocortex multilayer neural networks receive and store information help explain the relationship between our sensory perceptions and the words we use to describe them. Summary of how Paul Chauchard's findings on the relationship between intelligence and the density of the synaptic network of interconnections generated during infancy in the linguistic sections of the neocortex align with Hebb's findings. Summary of how the automatic correlation mechanics of the neocortex neural network allow the generalisation ability discovered by Ivan Pavlov as being due to the use of articulated languages, and how it also explains why Alfred Korzybski's reasoning method is so effective in helping to establish a clearer understanding of our environment, with a summary description of the reasoning method.

Advancement on the Mechanics of Conceptual Thinking | Chapter 4 | New Horizons in Education and Social Studies Vol. 6

The knowledge accrued about the implication of the limbic system's internal mechanisms in the production of articulate expression, from which conceptual thought arises, is now advanced to the extent where it is now possible to formulate a simple mechanic of conceptual thinking. Definition of conceptual thought mechanics resulting from sequences of contact between the limbic system and the neocortex verbal regions. Definition of the increase in the level of attention to complete active awareness when the amygdala is activated by a feeling of uneasiness due to a verbal stimulus, accompanied by an active cogitation phase involving the verbal areas of the neocortex, resulting in the strengthening of a synaptic arborescence corresponding to a changed verbal sequence in the neocortex by the hippocampus that eliminates or decreases. Description of the capacity to generalise resulting from the use of articulate languages, gained through education, from which logical thought emerges and the collectively intelligible mathematical language that also evolves through education in certain individuals to varying degrees. Definition of the mode of mathematical thought whose engrams are found in areas not overlapping verbal areas of the neocortex.
