Determining the Contaminants of Dispersion on Groundwater by Landfill Leachate | Chapter 7 | Research and Applications Towards Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 6

This unit aims to study the dispersion of contaminators by leachate, employing statement-dispersion method.  Most of the contaminants occur in character as either point sources or delivered sources. The important potential environmental impacts had connection with landfill leachate are dirtiness of groundwater and surface waters. To date, the percolation of microorganisms and viruses through landfill leachate into the groundwater table poses a potential risk and potential hazards towards all health and the ecosystem. Solute transport in absorbent media is argued by means of advection-dispersal equation. The Beavers-Joseph (BJ) slip border conditions are secondhand at the interface of the absorbent layers. The commanding equations are solved tentatively and the expressions for speed and dispersion are got. The results are presented through graphs.
