Handcuffs to Education of Gender Minorities: The Impact of Educational Barriers on Labor Supply of the Transgender Community in Sri Lanka| Chapter 2 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 1

 This research study search out fill a research gap\ through an painstaking- qualitative study that explore causes for transgender under-instruction in Sri Lanka at the initial point and investigate the impact of those causes on trained workers engagements at the later stage. This is a qualitative study that use snowball savoring technique to select a active-age transgender sample of 25 participants. In-Depth Interview procedure was used as the main data accumulation method in addition to observations, field outline and web/mathematical contents. Early-age school leaving, Academic course delays due to grammatical rules applying to nouns that connote sex or animateness transition process, School sophistication of aggression, Unsheltered itinerancy of transgender children, Social seclusion, Educational personality misfortune, and the problem of approach to tertiary instruction are recognized as the key causes for under-instruction observed between transgender community in Sri Lanka. Moreover, this study recognized the impacts of under-education on Sri Lanka’s transgender labor supply excessively.
