Recent Advances in the Synthesis and Applications of 3-Cyanocoumarins | Chapter 7 | Novel Aspects on Chemistry and Biochemistry Vol. 8

Coumarin is an essential curative architectural concept that is widely present in many frequently captured medications. The gist constituent of these compounds exhibits a wide range of healing benefits and physiological characteristics. The significance and widespread use of coumarin products have brought consideration to the methods for their combination using novel strategies. Among coumarin products, 3-cyano-coumarins is a well-known subgroup of oxygen-holding heterocyclic compounds that have significant significance in biological and healing sciences. 3-cyanocoumarins are also commonly popular precursor material for the happening of medicinally important different coumarin derivatives. The presence of the cyanide group in 3-cyano coumarins is appropriate for inserting wholes of biological significance like triazole, thiadiazole, and thiadiazoles into the coumarin core to increase their organic activities. Based on the most current research, this article supports a brief overview of the combination, biological and pharmacological applications of the 3-cyano derivative of coumarins, in addition to assessment of anticipated future medical requests.
