Langmuir Monolayer Stabilization Characteristics on Tetraether Lipids at the Air-Water Interface with Variance in Dispersion Time | Chapter 10 | Novel Aspects on Chemistry and Biochemistry Vol. 8

This paper report of the conduct Langmuir monolayer of chemically modified irregular tetraether lipids GDNT and chemically modified symmetrical tetraether lipids caldarchaeol-PO4 at the air-water interface (hotnesses 19°C ±1°C). This study was investigated that the strength of the mean ratio of Langmuir films to difference in dispersion occasions prior to film transfer.Hysteresis loops of condensation-decompression (μ-A) isotherms from Langmuir monolayers tetraether lipids were indicated that thermodynamic strength of Langmuir monolayers and their features. The cohesion of floating monolayer film is a critical parameter to catch high-quality Langmuir- Blodgett film for allure application. Stability of the lipid membranes is of excellent importance to a number of biomedical uses, including endovenous drug delivery, and biosensors.
