The present branch was written accompanying objectives to understand the dousing its types, allure pathophysiology, gross and microscopic findings, cause of decease in drowning and review after death findings in dousing. Drowning is defined as “death on account of submersion in liquid”. Death can happen in ocean or water as shallow water. It is a form of end of life in which the climatic air is prevented from recording the lungs due to plunge of body in water, or some other fluid medium. Complete submersion is not unavoidable because oblivion may occur even though the face alone is drenched because air is obviated from entering the respiratory area. World Health Organization described, drenching as serious and neglected community health problem. Near about 42 folk every time and 3.7 lakh every year die from inundating in the world. In India suffocating is the second most common cause of death subsequently road traffic accidents. The famous saying that “Water is existence” itself reveals the fact that, skilled will be no existence of growth without water. Millions of years ago, the first performance of life on soil had occurred in water (The Archean, Paleobiology.si.edu 2014). In addition to history sustaining role, water is individual of the most hurtful forces on earth in the form of tsunamis and flood disasters, that are responsible for the death on a large scale.
