Design of Compact and Dual-band Printed Dipole Network | Chapter 9 | Recent Developments in Engineering Research Vol. 8

In this paper we present the design of an omnidirectional radiation pattern dual band dipole network operable at 3 GHz and 5.2 GHz. First the fundamental source is identified and then the network of 4 dipoles is presented. Finally, for a base station, a possible application will be submitted. The diameter of the dipole array proposed is 60 mm3, and the results of the simulation and calculation are in good agreement. 2.6 dB at 3GHz and 4 dB at 5.2 GHz are the gains of the 4 dipoles at the base station.
