Advanced Study on Performance Analysis of Three- Phase DVR with Modified Switching Band Controller | Chapter 8 | Emerging Trends in Engineering Research and Technology Vol. 11

This paper deals with the mitigation of PQ related voltage problems by using three-phase neutral clamped VSI topology to realise the DVR and DVR configuration for the selection of appropriate inductor interface, resistance and capacitance of the DC capacitor storage sequence. For any country's sustainable growth, quality and reliable power are important. Three-phase four wire DVR with changed switching band controller topology is suggested here which overcomes the frequent violation of the band, low controllability and strong philtre currents and traditional philtre topology compared to three-phase four wire DVR. Based on simulation studies, the compensation potential of the proposed topology is evaluated and the resulting results are compared with different switching control results. Tactics. In various switching control techniques, the resulting merits and demerits are addressed in VSI switching loss, ripple in compensated load voltages and error between reference injected voltages and actual injected voltages. From the study, it is noted that the precise reference injected voltages are created from SRF theory and PLL provides unique rotational speed.
