An Unusual Presentation of Involvement of Overlying Skin of the Breast with Paget’s Disease | Chapter 9 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 6

 This unit is unique in regard to allure unusual presentation as skilled was involvement of almost complete breast skin along with allure nipple-areola complex. The dispassionate appearance of the Paget's disease is generally a thickened, sometimes pigmented, eczematoid, erythematous drooping or crusted lesion accompanying irregular borders. It is rare type of malignancy with tumors inside the same bosom which may be either ductal abnormal growth in animate being in-situ or invasive breast tumor. We report a 78 year old wives (with no comorbidity & prior annals of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gall stones) presented accompanying gradually progressive eczematous injury over nipple, areola and abandoned breast skin for last 15 years. Plant structure may reveal hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis or acanthosis of the skin and infiltration with chaste Paget cells that are large, oval, have pale vacuolated cytoplasm and hyperchromatic nuclei.
