Beekeeping and Honey Bee Biology History of Beekeeping in Indonesia | Chapter 12 | Advanced Research in Biological Science Vol. 6

Beekeeping is an agro-located activity which is being tackled by farmers/landless labours in forests as an integrated farming practice. Beekeeping supplements profit & employment production and nutritional intake of country population. Though the honeybees are best known for the sweetheart they produce, their economic duty in nature is to fertilize hundreds and chiliads of flowering plants and assure background of seed or fruit. Honeybees have existed offering aids to the society through ensured impregnation of the ovum in cross-pollinated crops in addition to by providing honey and a variety of cut products.
