From Stigma to Empowerment: Enhancing HIV/AIDS Knowledge through Peer Education Activities at Chinese Normal University | Chapter 12 | Research Highlights in Disease and Health Research Vol. 7

 The present study examined a peer education exercises increasing students’ education about HIV/AIDS and safe sexuality practice in one Chinese Normal University as well as to recognize the key factors donating to the success of students' knowledge about HIV/AIDS prevention and reliable sex practices through the peer education program.. Yunnan Normal University has existed recognized for allure successful HIV/AIDS education and stop efforts with Chinese universities. The findings told that healthy living perspectives and intercourse morality were the essential elements of HIV/AIDS education in Chinese academies, and that establishing a good friendship between educators and learners was lively to eliminating any shame when teaching impressionable knowledge. One of the best policies for delivering HIV/AIDS instruction has also been erect to be preparation activities managed by qualified peer educators. For universities revere create productive HIV/AIDS education programmes, this study offers helpful understandings. Other Chinese colleges desiring to build and implement their own persuasive HIV/AIDS education programs should benefit from the verdicts, which desire that the HIV/AIDS Peer education organized projects could be secondhand as instructional guides for those institutions.
