Using recent proposed Maxwell’s equations for the gravitational field, it is shown that a gravitational field component of the form |R |~1/r appears formally. When this field is applied to a bulge-stars or bulge-dust motion within a Galaxy, the variable r means the distance of a star or dust to the bulge of the Galaxy, and this component of the gravitational field within a Galaxy can bring about the flatness behavior of the velocities of the stars or dust as a function of the distance of its bulge. This research offers an alternative to the dark matter hypothesis using a modified gravitational force.
