Guizhou Tunpu Dixi: The Task of the Inheritors in the New Era | Chapter 11 | Anthropological Explorations of Gender, Identity, and Economics

As a local traditional drama in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, Dixi is an important part of the culture of Tunpu in Guizhou and one of the national intangible cultural heritages. The inheritors of Tunpu Dixi play an important role in the inheritance and development of Dixi culture. The inheritors of Dixi and their performance teams combined the spirit of Dixi with the culture of Tunpu during the performance, so that the Dixi culture can be widely disseminated in daily production and life. However, due to the impact of other cultures and the changes in the current way of information dissemination, the inheritors of Dixi and their performance teams are facing the challenge of more diversified performance forms and rich new media communication methods, so it is important to explore the protection methods of Dixi.
