Resiliency, Achievement at University and Identities. A Study at the Light of a New Systemic Paradigm: The Three Dimensional Spiral of Sense | Chapter 6 | Progress in Language, Literature and Education Research Vol. 2

 This study is constituent the broad research program on University Quality Appraisal. It falls into the Sub Program of Feature Education Optimization concerning students’ realizations, with a view to implementing professors’ support and professionalization methods. The aim was to go deep into the causes for delay in finishing studies at the Academy, as well as to make or become acquainted with the strong “reasons” leading to a delay, everywhere, of over the half of the pre-established opportunity assigned to different courses of studies.). The main objective search out observe the relationship middle from two points resiliency and accomplishment at the National University of Cuyo, attractive a long period (in addition 20 years and 6 faculties). From the concerning details point of view, quantitative (explanatory and predictive level: bivariate and multivariate) and approximate methodologies were used. Triangulation was before carried out. The model contained factors of different types: elementary, personal, occupational, fundamental, pedagogic-uniform and psychosocial ones.  We worked on three (3) levels: big-méso-micro-big in their sustained interaction or fundamental feedback. The study macro-procedures combine accompanying institutional “decisions” and a reign of “disciplinary” programs, that often disregard the consolidation of friendly competencies (méso level) and, finally, accompanying the situation of the basic actors (micro level), that is to say, delaying juniors.  Here we will analyze the results had connection with the Resiliency factor (all-inclusive level). We used the Henderson and Milstein’s method, which shows degrees of resilience at the staff cadre, the institution and the professors’ levels, evidencing place the strengths and weaknesses are situated. There perform different identities related to various Faculties and Courses of Study; identities connected to the students’ achievement. The practical findings specify elements for informed accountable that looks at the quality of the university plan, generating professionalization and unending improvement programs that incorporate the preparation of “soft abilities”.
