Dynamics of Public Servant- Political Leadership in the Livestock Sector in Malawi: An Approach towards Public Finance Management | Chapter 3 | Contemporary Research in Business, Management and Economics Vol. 4

This paper examined power dynamics between elected political leaders and public servant leadership in managing public finances.  Development of livestock is essential to the agricultural industry and has a big economic impact. The public budget, which supports the industry, provides a rich environment for the government's political economy.  The study used cross-sectional descriptive and exploratory research design. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (Chi-Square test and analysis of variance) in SPSS version 20. The results showed that public servants have more authority and control over public finance management. Power in public finance management does not reside in one stakeholder but is volatile. Collaboration between public servants and politicians existed to achieve the objectives set by political and public servant leaders and ensure compliance with the public finance framework. The findings of this study are inferred to some extent from other public sectors in Malawi.  Corruption and patronage compromise public finance management. Private interests influence civil servants, leading to regulatory capture and compromised regulatory enforcement. Further research would be required to establish how power is applied to motivate public servant leadership and political leadership and explore the dynamics at play within livestock sector and in other public sectors in Malawi.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Labour Market Institutions | Chapter 10 | Current Topics on Business, Economics and Finance Vol. 2

This item addresses a bilateral holding wage determination model at which point employers ascertain the level of result and employment. The warning of a strike is the primary finish of employees, when in fact employers, as owners of the trust surplus, can simply forget wage claims. The wage stretchiness of labour demand, as well as the skyline and discount rate used when manipulative strike costs and benefits, are critical in the traditional-economic model. Employers in a heretical economic model can frame their truth in either an Austrian or a neoclassical manner. Employees can frame their reality in a radical-financial or post-Keynesian manner. The frame preferred has an impact on the determinants discussed in the traditional model. Furthermore, the outcomes of the negotiations are affected by irrationality (from behavioural commerce) and immorality (from public economics/economic applied social science). A Communication Platform should be situated to organize Habermas-style capacity-free confrontations in order to make parties more rational and practically aware. In this way, organization could evenly transition from a shareholder to a shareholder society. The organizations of the different labour markets in the experience are very diverse. So are the outcomes – Northern European nations show the best results in conditions of human well-being. Institutions are considerably affected by the relative capacity of workers, employers and administration. This article shows that not only hard capacity does play a role. Also faint power factors are main in reaching social goals in conditions of efficiency, stability and lawfulness. Ideology and mentality do matter.

Repair and Maintenance Cost Estimation for Two Agricultural Tractors as Affected by Hours of Use and Years in Dongola Area, Sudan| Chapter 10 | Technological Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 8

Fix and upkeep cost is thought of as one of the main things for hardware dependability and the executives particularly agrarian farm trucks. The ongoing review was directed in Dongola region, Sudan to gauge farm truck fix and upkeep costs. The maintenance and support (R&M) cost is a significant thing in the expenses of possession and activity. The data was assembled from Elshimalya Organization for Horticultural Administrations records. In the review district, 44 farm trucks with two different power sizes — 75 strength and 150 torque — were picked. Relapse connection examination was utilized to conjecture the combined fix and support (R and M) costs as a level of price tag in association with the total long periods of utilization and age (years) for every farm truck size as well concerning the two sizes taken together in view of the information accumulated. Five model structures were created (direct, logarithmic, polynomial, power, and outstanding), and the power still up in the air to be the best fit to make sense of the relationship. The collected Rand M expenses as a level of the price tag (Y) expanded as the farm hauler's aggregated long periods of purpose (x) and age (g) in years climbed. The collected R&M cost was displayed to have a critical relationship with both gathered long stretches of purpose and farm hauler age in years (Normal R2 = 0.93-0.95).

It was resolved that the power capability was the best fit for fix and upkeep cost assessments and this connection might be utilized as a normal of the two work vehicle powers, for assessment of the aggregated R and M expenses as percent of price tag (Y) with collected long stretches of purpose (x) and age (g) as follows: Y=0.028x0.662 (mean), Y=12.294g1.276 (mean).

Phase Frequency Detector (PFD) Design with Frequency Dividers for a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) in 0.18-μm CMOS Technology | Chapter 3 | Technological Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 3

A novel CMOS dynamic Phase Frequency Detector design is presented in this paper (PFD). The proposed PFD circuit (PPFD) was created, simulated, and the results were evaluated. The PPFD circuit uses internal signal routing to eliminate dead zone. The Low Pass Filter (LPF) integrates error current to provide VCO control voltage and suppresses noise and undesirable phase detector outputs, which is what a Loop-filter is. The PLL is built in 0.18 m CMOS technology with a T-spice environment and coupled to the frequency divider circuits (FD/2 & FD 2/3). According to the comparisons, the low power consumption by the PLL with FD2/3 is around 0.65 W. In addition, the PLL circuits are subjected to Monte Carlo simulation, and the power values are examined. Pass transistor logic based FDs can be utilised to extend the research work and minimise power.
