The author of this novel is a breast cancer sufferer. Facts prove that cancer is the number 2 killer in the world and the number 1 killer in Indonesia. As a breast cancer sufferer who has struggled for years with various medical and non-medical treatments and finally managed to recover completely. Betty has shown the character of a strong, confident and firm main character. This toughness, firmness and high self-confidence are an example for every breast cancer sufferer not to reject this disease as a curse but as a gift from God so that all breast cancer sufferers should be friends with this disease. Staying calm while managing inner pressure in order to be friends with cancer is the main message of this novel.
