Solar energy aggregation technology using Fresnel glass is an effective way of employing solar energy on account of its thin, lightweight creation that are available in different sizes, accompanying excellent light absorbing capability for a variety of requests. Concentrated photovoltaics is a major application and the maximal solar-to-electric change efficiency, the Fresnel lens are stated about 30% higher efficiency. An attempt has happened made to state the benefits of the use of Fresnel Collectors in concentrating solar power. The work intentional about PV cells that are used accompanying a lens arrangement method inbetween them, and for heat decline a cooling system is too attached to maximize the effectiveness. By using Fresnel lens, the manufacturing of PV cell maybe maximized and the cost can be minimized. Here it is erect that, with low cost of organizing the system can obtained the capacity output 2-2.35 times above normal PV committee system, i.e. the cost maybe reduced in half or capacity output can be increase double or greater for a likely cost. The maximum performance from this system is about 62.7% increases that is quite acceptable. Although the present application scale is limited, the ongoing research and development everything suggest that Fresnel glass solar concentrators can be a alternative method with higher adeptness than conventional type system. It will influence a breakthrough of monetary solar energy concentration use technology in the near future. The adeptness of solar systems, specifically photovoltaic panels, is generally depressed based on temperature and the harvest of the P.V. module is adversely overwhelmed by their surface rise in temperature. This increase is associated with the engrossed sunlight that is convinced into heat, resulting in lowered power output, strength efficiency, performance and existence of the panel. The use of cooling methods can offer a potential solution to prevent excessive heating of P.V. panels and to lower cell temperature.

Studies on the Electrical and Optical Properties of High Quality Cuprous Oxide Material Produced by Thermal Oxidation for Solar Cell Applications | Chapter 4 | Current Overview on Science and Technology Research Vol. 3

The structural, morphological, and opto-electrical characteristics of cuprous oxide have been studied. Copper foil was thermally oxidised to produce premium cuprous oxide materials. High purity and large grain size cuprous oxide films were successfully produced using this technique. The films exhibit a cubic structure with a preferred (111) orientation at a 2 angle of 36.51o, according to the results of X-ray diffraction (XRD). The material is rough on a micro scale, with an average grain size of 0.68 micrometres, according to a scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrograph. Cu2O is thought to have an optical band gap energy of 2.11 eV. Cu2O was found to have a low electrical resistance of 2.59 x 102 cm. At steady illumination of 60Wm-2, the maximum power was found to be 1.84x10-4mWcm-2 for the cell without current collection grids and 2.61x10-4mWcm-2 for the cell with current collection grid. Efficiency and fill factors were determined to be 3.07x10-4%, 0.49, 4.35x10-4%, and 0.58 for cells with and without current collecting grids, respectively. Cuprous oxide is a suitable material for photovoltaic applications due to the aforementioned discoveries.

Assessment of Solar Cell System Design for Mechanical Cooling System on the Ferry 500 GT | Chapter 6 | Novel Perspectives of Engineering Research Vol.7

Energy power is now a basic demand for almost everyone on the planet. Electrical energy is essential to the functioning of the economy. Electricity can be produced from a variety of energy sources. Outline his energy can be divided into two categories: updateable energy and non-updateable energy. Energy that cannot be updated, such as that obtained from fossil and nuclear fuels, as well as energy that can be updated, such as that derived from geothermal (solar energy), ocean waves, waterfalls, wind, and other natural sources. Energy sources that cannot be updated, such as energy sourced from fossil fuels, are gradually being phased out as prices rise and the number of energy sources available decreases. Heat (solar thermal) or electricity (electricity) can be generated using the Sun's energy (photovoltaic). Solar energy is used as a source of electrical energy in engineering as a solar photovoltaic plant with no pollution, air pollution, or pollution on the environment. In photovoltaics, the solar cell is the most important component. Due to the relative amount of Sun energy and the fact that the Sun bathes the territory of Indonesia 10-12 hours a day, the usage of solar cells on a ship can be used as energy in a variety of electrical equipment on the ship. In this scenario, the solar cell was used to power the mechanical cooling equipment on board a ferry that travels around Indonesia. Solar energy consumption is expected to reduce the use of fossil fuels and save money on operating costs.

Development of High Efficiency Multi-Crystalline Inorganic Solar Cell Using Er+3 Based Plano Convex Lens| Chapter 3 | New Visions in Science and Technology Vol. 6

The photovoltaic cell (PVC) is a semiconductor device whose primary objective is to generate vibrant clean energy from sunlight. PVC was classified into three major classes by technology: a) Organic, b) Inorganic, and c) Hybrid. PVC users state unequivocally that installed PVC is incoherent and that electric generation is inadequate. The solution to manufacture consistent electricity using PVC is insurmountable, and researchers are unaware of PVC's resurrection. After a thorough assessment of the literature, the goal of this study is to reveal indisputable proof that demonstrates the mesmerising power of Plano convex lenses on any PVC. This research summarises two undeniable incumbent solutions: a) Erbium's impact on the surface of PVC cells; and b) Plano convex lenses that incorporate frazzle sun beams into gargantuan beams that remove a small amount of sunlight from PVC and boost electricity.

Study on Increasing the Solar Cell Efficiency by Using Glass Balls | Chapter 9 | Current Approaches in Science and Technology Research Vol. 11

Due to changes in the sun angle of projection during the day, solar cells lose a significant portion of their capacity due to insufficient solar energy. A cell panel converts solar energy into electrical energy, which is known as Photo Voltage (PV). These cells are created utilising P-N dipole technology and a variety of semiconductor materials. Thus, the goal of this study is to improve cell efficiency using a novel method that involves gathering rays in a convex focus and dispersing them in a concave lens, resulting in rays that are always perpendicular to the cells. Glass balls with a diameter of 10 mm were employed and positioned on the cell area to achieve this goal. This research discovered a significant increase in cell efficiency, with an estimated 7.53 percent increase in generating voltage and 1.086 percent increase in current using this unique method.

The Influence of Bio Natural Dye on the Optical Properties of Liquid Polyvinyl Alcohol | Chapter 6 | Advanced Aspects of Engineering Research Vol. 15

The use of bio liquid electrolytes in solar cells enhances cell performance, minimises electrostatic charge on the surface, and reduces the possibility of solid electrolyte leakage. In addition to yellow dye produced from flowers, the goal of the study is to make a liquid electrolyte of polyvinyl alcohol. To make varied amounts of dye, the yellow dye from flowers growing in Carthage, Tunisia, was extracted using acetone and diluted with ionised water. The dye molecules act as a light collector and are created by the excitation of electrons. Polyvinyl alcohol was dissolved in 100 ml of various solvents (water, diluted dye, and concentrated dye) to achieve a constant concentration of 0.01 g / ml in all solutions. Optical parameters such as absorbance, transmittance, and energy gap were investigated utilising the ultraviolet spectrum. The optical qualities, such as absorbance and absorption coefficient, rose as the dye concentration grew, but transmittance reduced as the pigment concentration increased. The energy gap shrinks as the dye concentration rises, reaching a minimum of roughly 1.7 eV at the concentrated dye. When the concentrated dye is added to the polyvinyl alcohol, however, the energy gap shrinks from 4 eV to 1.8 eV.
