Study on the Optical Properties of PVA /PEG Doped with Sodium Fluoride Salt Polymer Blend Electrolyte Films | Chapter 36 | Innovative Solutions: A Systematic Approach towards Sustainable Future

Polymers when doped with metal salts give complexes which are useful for development of the advanced high-energy electrochemical devices such as high-energy density rechargeable batteries and energy storage devices. The materials used in this work were procured from Sigma Aldrich company having 99.99% purity and are used without any further purification throughout the research experiment. In the present work, solid polymer blend electrolyte films of PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) and PEG (Polyethylene Glycol) doped with different weight percent ratios of NaF (Sodium Fluoride) were prepared by the solution casting method. The effect of NaF concentration on the optical properties of (PVA/PVP-NaF) films has been investigated using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer in the wavelength range (200-800 nm). The optical constants like absorption spectra, transmission spectra, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant and optical band gaps are investigated. It was found that the optical energy band gap is decreased upon the increase in NaF salt concentration which is contrary to the variation of conductance. The experimental results show that the optical constants showed clear changes with increasing the doping concentrations. The optical constants such as extinction coefficient, refractive index, and real and imaginary dielectric constants are found to depend on the NaF concentration in the PVA/PEG blended polymer matrix. These physical aspects will contribute to producing a new material that might potentially be used as an alternative or substitute material for many other applications.

Study of Solution by Excess Thermodynamic Functions | Chapter 5 | Current Perspective to Physical Science Research Vol. 5

The study of various types of solutions by the principles of excess thermodynamic functions is very main to understand the interaction patterns betwixt molecules and ions in the solutions.Namely by using ultrasonic waves, dipole importance,  density, refractive index, stickiness, deviation in viscosity, surplus free energy, surface tension to decide the thermodynamic functions and its excess as glut internal pressure, audile impedance and its overkill, rigid sphere width, internal pressure, excess surface strain, dimensionless surface tension and allure excess, the change of entropy accompanying pressure and excess volume, growth coefficient, relative change in volume too polarizability, solvated radii and vapor chromatography and Rayleigh scattering.

Fabry-Perot Hygrometer with a Thin Film Gelatin Sensor | Chapter 6 | Fundamental Research and Application of Physical Science Vol. 7

Here we present the ocular Fabry-Perot interferometer (FP) modified to work as a hygrometer. A jam thin film introduced between the mirrors of the FP behaves as the transductor. The thin film absorbs/desorbs water particles and thus the the thickness and refractive index will change. The meddling pattern given apiece FP, that consists of having a common center rings, is overwhelmed by these changes and this variation maybe used to infer the changes in relative humidness.

Fiber-optic Microfluidic Platform for Refractive Index Measurement of Liquids and Suspensions | Chapter 8 | Fundamental Research and Application of Physical Science Vol. 5

We present a microfluidic terrace based on a fiber-visual three-way Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI), proposed to measurement of the refractive index (RI) of liquids and description of suspended jug particles (cylinders) simultaneously. The calculation principle is established low coherence interferometry, place the maximum position of the interferogram Gaussian envelope  depends on the ocular path difference (OPD) betwixt the measuring and the remark arm of the MZI. An algorithm was developed for manipulative the refractive index of liquids and mirror particles, as well as for judgment the particle width from the raw photodetector signals. The physical atom diameter is planned from the measured particle transportation time while passing through the test beam. We erect very good understanding between the experimental results and the article data on the checked liquids refractive index and dimensions and refractive index of postponed particles. The veracity of the refractive index measurement was about 1 %, mainly contingent upon the accuracy of position review of the mechanical scanner. The littlest sample volume maybe as small as 1 µl is capable of weighing the refractive index of different fluids and gases and their suspensions simultaneously. The projected method is appealing for label-free biological, biochemical and chemical grasping because of allure high sensitivity and veracity and  self-calibrating feature.

Study on Theoretical Design Te-Polarization OneDimensional Photonic Crystal | Chapter 10 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 10

Due to the energy equivalence principle, we show that mass is connected with spacetime curvature, which leads to the development of volume and mass shells in every case. The relationships between a point surface tension and a spacetime curvature are presented. The conclusion is that spacetime is inherently fluid. Finally, we come across the chi psi omega law and the action, both of which are crucial in quantum mechanics. From there, we may calculate the particle's true acceleration.
