Taxonomy of Internet Protocol Addressing Standards for Next Generation Internet Services | Chapter 1 | Contemporary Perspective on Science, Technology and Research Vol. 3

 This phase examines the issue of astronomically growing demand for Internet Methods participating in the public network, that has resulted in the depletion of assigned Internet Contract version 4.0 (IPV4) addresses. Each version of the cyberspace protocol has analogous characteristics and abilities. It widely studies the categories of IP address standards and physiognomy. Four Regional Computer network Registries (RIRs), namely ARNIC, RIPE, LACNIC, and ARPIN, have previously exhausted their given IPV4 addresses, while the having five of something, AFRICNIC (Africa's RIR), is pronounced to be depleted. We further investigated surplus of IPV4, the characteristics of IPV6, and several manners of operation for the IPV6 standard. The current global community is approximately 7 billion population, with a projected increase to 9 billion by 2050, and IPV6 can surely support 2128=3.4028 x 1038 devices. This study also plans a transition from current Computer network Protocol version 4.0 (IPV4) addresses to new Computer network Protocol adaptation 6.0 (IPV6) addresses. This research has revealed that installing IPV6 is simply one feasible planning for sustaining all-encompassing Internet services.
