On west side when facing north Africa has been through a ending of evolution from colonialism, to racism to democracy and informal conclusions have become a important social problem in the post – racism South Africa. Fire hazards are suitable prevalent and has had a serious impact primarily on the poor and marginalised. Informal buildings are often built nearly each other and as a result fires frequently spread quickly that could result in demolition of the structures, serious harms and sometimes lead to a attainable death. As a result, the results can be catastrophic. Then, the aim of this study is to investigate and examine the existent recovery strategies secondhand by ordinary communities and administration interventions and how two together are combined to assist communities to manage and recover from fire hazards. In order to realize the above objective, this desktop study depended secondary dossier as sources of information. They contained the existing reports, available history, experts and professional’s analysis, societies’ testimonies available connected to the internet in the form of audios YouTube videos. Television, Transmission News, interviews provided rich facts to the study. The findings have proved that the impact of fire hazards is devastating are becoming weighty threat to safety of simple dwellers. The communities contend and recover from fire hazards. Communities counter as the disaster occurs. Moreover, the findings showed that while the administration has intervened this has enhance a major issue that requires administration intervention.
