Seasonal Variation in Physico-chemical Parameters of Groundwater in Yerraguntla Area of YSR Kadapa DT, Andhra Pradesh, India | Chapter 4 | Chemistry and Biochemistry: Research Progress Vol. 1

People around the globe are in tremendous trouble because of unexpected changes in the physical, chemical, and natural states of the air, water, and soil. Due to the increased mortal population, industrialization, use of diseases, and man-made exertion, water is heavily contaminated with different dangerous pollutants. Disposing of contaminated jewels, filtering soils, and mining processing lead to contamination of natural water. The quality of drinking water must be checked regularly. Because of this contaminated drinking water, the mortal population suffers from varied forms of waterborne diseases. The vacuity of good quality water is a necessary point for precluding the conditions and perfecting the quality of life. It is necessary to know the details about different Physicochemical parameters such as Hydrogen ion concentration, Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Bicarbonate, Chloride, Sulphate, Phosphate, Dissolved Oxygen, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Chemical Oxygen Demand, etc. for testing water quality. Yerraguntla area of YSR Kadapa district was selected to determine the groundwater quality in both rainy and summer seasons. In the present study, the results showed that most of the Physico-chemical parameters exceeded the admissible limits of WHO. The water Quality Index showed that groundwater is not suitable for drinking purposes in all locales of the study area. The correlation measure showed the inter-relevance between various parameters that impact groundwater quality. Piper tri direct illustration showed that the groundwater of the area contains Ca-HCO3 type of mariners. So, it is necessary to adopt sound water sanitation methods in the study area.

Balancing Acts: Addressing Economic Inequality through Academic Freedom in Industrialization of Developing Countries | Chapter 3 | Contemporary Issues of Business and Management: The Proceedings of the 10th International Conference on Business and Management Dynamics (ICBMD), Edition 1

In developing nations, economic inequality hinders sustainable industrialization. Academic freedom, by fostering critical thinking and creativity, is crucial for addressing this issue. It promotes human capital development, problem-solving, and innovative approaches to tackle the root causes of inequality. Academic freedom has a favourable impact on economic inequality by increasing access to education and permitting social mobility; nevertheless, its effectiveness is limited by inclusive industrial policies and strong institutional backing.  An exploratory and qualitative approach was used to investigate how academic freedom, as a basis of higher education, might contribute to social equality and sustainability. The study identifies how academic freedom can improve human capital, stimulate innovation, and inform equitable policy decisions by conducting an in-depth analysis of secondary data and contemporary literature. The study adds to the conversation by illustrating that academic freedom alone is insufficient to achieve equal results; it must be accompanied by robust governance and policies that promote social inclusion. These findings have far-reaching ramifications for governments, academic institutions, civil society organizations, and international development agencies. By incorporating academic freedom into national development plans, stakeholders can promote more inclusive industrial growth and socioeconomic resilience. The study indicates that safeguarding academic freedom is critical for furthering social justice and sustainable economic growth.

Sociology in Various Contexts | Book Publisher International

 "Sociology in Various Contexts" paints a picture of today's rapidly changing world. Sociology, being the science of society, must investigate the ever changing world from various angles. The current globalising world must be constantly observed and examined in order to identify society's flaws and supply the necessary answers. Some of them have been touched by this book, but there is still much more to be done. Countries must plan for and research their societies in accordance with their national norms and values, however many nations are experiencing difficulties as globalisation continues. More sociological evaluations of such countries are required. Many emerging countries believe they are falling behind under such conditions. As a result, they are making significant efforts to improve technologically in order to integrate developed-country standards. In Asia, for example, the Literacy Index has seen significant changes, bridging the industrial and technical divide. One of the weaknesses of emerging countries is a sociological lack of social work, which leads to social illnesses and challenges. One of the difficulties confronting emerging countries is population expansion, which has resulted in child labour to support their families. This phenomenon may be seen all over India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Africa. Asia, with a population of 4.6 billion people spread across 48 countries, is sociologically susceptible in many ways. Slums, unemployment, economic inflation, and a slew of other issues are prevalent in many parts of the developing globe, necessitating social, economic, and demographic remedies. Many people in developing countries face water and food shortages, and they require adequate solutions.

Analysing the Concept of Derogation in Regional and Continental Integration: A Case of Zimbabwe | Chapter 2 | New Innovations in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 2

 Africa, like any other continent, has embraced continental integration in order to produce economies of scale and achieve long-term economic growth and development. Resource pooling, collaborative capacity building, complementary resource endowment management, and internal markets will all help to build a healthy African economy capable of overcoming poverty, unemployment, and social hardship.

The founding nationalists' African development architecture ignores the concept of developing continental collective capacity for shared economic performance, improved and simplified movement of people and goods, development of common regional infrastructure, and promotion of a conducive macroeconomic environment facilitating economic development among African states.

Pan-African institutions' new recognition that broader intra-Africa collaboration is viable beyond problems of continental peace and security to engendering macroeconomic convergence is a shift from the customary rhetoric of state sovereignty. According to studies, trade accounts for 80 cents of every dollar made in Africa. The realisation that continental integration remains a viable option arose in the context of efforts to ram through previous multilateral agreements with Africa, particularly in the area of raw material commerce. The creation of African regional trade blocs has progressed, albeit with intrinsic limits mostly driven by turfism, historical colonial attachments, a leadership shortage, and general institutional shortcomings in member states. The widespread failure of rules-based economic engagements in Africa, on the other hand, is a major source of concern, as it undermines Africa's tremendous potential for increasing intra-African trade.

This study will examine and analyse the notion of derogation in integration, putting Zimbabwe's derogation experiences in SADC, COMESA, and the CFTA in context, as well as comparing and contrasting situations from other continents. Derogation, by its very nature, has an adverse effect on the country requesting the derogation and stymies progress with the group dedicated to the goal of economic cooperation. Zimbabwe falls into the same category, putting other nations in a position to use reciprocity to mitigate the effects of faulty domestic economic policies.

A System Driven Approach to Research and Intellectual Property Generation | Chapter 9 | New Approaches in Engineering Research Vol. 10

 Zimbabwe's economy is shifting from one based on resources to one based on knowledge. The announcement of the Intellectual Property Rights Policy by the Government of Zimbabwe, three decades after achieving economic and political freedom, marked a watershed moment in the country's efforts to unlock value from research inputs and realise the goal of becoming a middle-income economy. The goal is to get the most out of the money spent on research by collaborating with others. As a result, this strategy created a favourable environment for collaboration between universities, government, and industry. How can we help disadvantaged individuals earn more money by leveraging their knowledge rather than their sweat and muscle? It has been a difficult question for most Zimbabweans. Every emerging country must foster and conserve indigenous knowledge in order to thrive. Zimbabwe has improved its educational curriculum during the last three decades. On the other hand, the educational system has struggled to produce graduates capable of providing goods and services to a developing country. The government has sought to address the problem by establishing more than 10 state-owned institutions and granting licences to two additional private universities. The new academic programmes and degrees did not boost industry executives' belief in the institutions' ability to contribute to industrial progress, and the project did not result in the establishment of a new industry.

Sociology of Youth | Book Publisher International

Conservation of Forestry Biomass with the Use of Alternative Resource: Advanced Study | Chapter 5 | International Research in Environment, Geography and Earth Science Vol.2

 The effect of the alternative resource and time delay on conservation of forestry biomass is studied by

considering a nonlinear mathematical model. In this paper interaction between forestry biomass,
industrialization pressure, toxicant pressure and technological effort is proposed and analysed. We
find out the critical values of delay parameters under different dynamical situations and observe that
system is stable and unstable when the delay parameters are below and above the critical values
respectively and there is Hopf bifurcation when delay parameters cross the critical values. System
shows these interesting dynamical features under different critical parametric restrictions. Using the
normal form theory and the center manifold theorem, we determine the stability and direction of the
bifurcating periodic solutions. Numerical simulations illustrate the analytical results.
