The Cultural Significance of the Complex of Hue Monuments: A World Heritage Gem | Chapter 7 | Engineering Research: Perspectives on Recent Advances Vol. 7

The ancient capital city of Hue, located in central Vietnam, served as the base of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). It is home to the Complex of Hue Monuments, which was designated as the first UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in Vietnam in December 1993, recognised for its outstanding universal value and safeguarded for the benefit of humanity. Since then, it has become a significant cultural representative of Vietnam.

This paper provides an overview of the Complex of Hue Monuments, which includes the Citadel, the Imperial City, the Emperor’s Mausoleums, the Imperial Esplanade, Arenas, Pagodas, Temples, Shrines, and the surrounding natural environment. However, the site suffered significant damage during the Indochina War in the latter half of the 20th century from 1947-1975. As a result, UNESCO initiated a safeguarding campaign, leading to a series of conservation and restoration activities supported by international partners since the late 1980s. In addition, this study proposes supplementing the existing conceptual framework by introducing an intermediary notion between conservation, inheritance, and utilisation. This aims to provide a clearer roadmap for recognising the value of cultural heritage, offering a conceptual guide for conservation and contributing to the development of Vietnam. Architectural heritage conservation is not limited to the preservation of material structures alone. It also encompasses the safeguarding of all elements connected to their existence—tangible and intangible—and strives for the potential revitalisation of such heritage for the benefit of humanity. In this context, the restoration and reconstruction of significant architectural heritage sites within the Complex of Hue Monuments—especially those of outstanding universal value that have been lost, such as Can Chanh Dien Palace (to be discussed in a subsequent study)—is not only feasible but also imperative.

Global Openness of Science in the Processes of Institutional Transformations of the Education System as a Factor in the Formation of Sustainable Development of Society | Chapter 1 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 2

Scientific research is generally on account of the need to study the question of compliance of clever directions of university and allure specific instructional models accompanying the needs of civilizational progress towards a tenable future, harmony, mutual understanding, common respect and take care of the atmosphere. Globalisation includes the fusion of all countries with its own government' institutions, frugalities, and organizations (including those had connection with instruction and wisdom) into a distinct socioeconomic system accompanying the potential for upgraded governmental arrangement between ruling class.  In new globalism, an unoriginal homeostatic barrage-like model of crisis depravity of a humankind, reside line accompanying the principles of devouring, has happened made, ominous by falling wit happening beneath the fault-finding mark and consequently by ending of mechanics progress and sharp increase of humanness distinguished to births. Higher education is becoming more everywhere and globally joined, that raises a number of new questions for hypothesis and practise, in the way that that administration patterns, forms, and techniques are entire and that are distinguishing. The essential relation of the fundamental and functional characteristics of the uniform measure of worldwide transformations of experience happening must be recognised and conceptualised, it is pretended. Global uniform transformations are now happen for the tenable happening of society in the circumstances of the internationalization of university and erudition. One of the main physiognomy of the modern stage of incident of realm culture is the proliferation of all spheres of human social interactions - educational, educational, financial. Various concepts of proliferation are grown and arised.Science used to talk only about the internationalization of the saving, public and cultural history, thus. However, contemporary this idea has spread to all integral and uniform levels and constructions.Education organizations and establishments should educate by means of what to agree as one, develop abilities for tenable incident, expand critical thinking, share trustworthiness 'tween juniors and the education team. Education organizations maybe models of tenable lifestyles.

Prospects and Goals of Sustainable Development as an Integrative Basis of the Global Strategy for the Efficiency of Society, Education and Science| Chapter 1 | Research Aspects in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 1

For understanding about the ecological, economic, and social components as a whole, interdisciplinary connections are essential. These phenomena are particularly significant for small countries and those on the path of intensive development or searching for a model of an economic and social intensification and institutional transformations for sustainable development of s, given that the phenomena of integration and internationalisation in the context of globalisation are growing rapidly and that their properties are determined by the laws dictated by the prevailing trend of global development.

In order to effectively exploit novel ideas and technologies, people in this circumstance need new knowledge and skills. Environmental preservation, education for sustainable development, global civic education, as well as other educational approaches and learning principles, lay the groundwork for sustainability in all of its manifestations. The educational process should build knowledge, competencies, and abilities as well as values and attitudes in order to empower young people to actively participate in addressing regional, national, and international social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Summarized Enzymology of Aspergillus oryzae: The National Microorganism of Japan | Chapter 2 | Current Topics on Chemistry and Biochemistry Vol. 2

Because of its high capacity to produce useful enzymes, the industrially essential filamentous fungus Aspergillus oryzae has been studied for understanding the intracellular membrane trafficking mechanism. The underlying molecular principles of the secretory system define the principal secretion route from the hyphal tip via the vesicle cluster Spitzenkörper, however there is accumulating evidence that septum-directed and unconventional secretion occurs in A. oryzae hyphal cells. In A. oryzae and similar filamentous fungi, the molecular and physiological processes of membrane traffic, i.e. secretory and endocytic routes, are summarised, as well as the potential for industrial applications. The aforementioned condensed research in contemporary enzymology have a long and rich history in Japan, contributing to biotechnology and biochemistry knowledge, proving that "necessity is the mother of innovation."

A Study on the Influence of Modifications to International Programs in a Region – Focusing on the UNESCO Global Geopark Program in International and Japanese Contexts | Chapter 9 | Arts and Social Studies Research Vol.3

This study attempts to clarify how international discussions related UNESCO Global Geoparks were
reflected in the geopark program in Japan by examining movements and discussions of international
and regional organizations which took roles for the establishment of geopark initiatives, focusing up to
2015 when UNESCO officially launched the program. The process up to the establishment of
UNESCO Global Geopark was divided into four stages including “geopark random activity period”
which various international organizations committed its own “geopark activities”, and followed to
“geopark integration period” which those activities integrated as one geopark program under
UNESCO and all of them happened in less than 20 years.
In Japan, geologists started domestic geopark program influenced by the international geopark
movements. The time when they started and expanded geopark activities in Japan happened parallel
to the “geopark random activity period” in international society. As a result, the geopark system in
Japan resulted in emphasizing geological features compared to UNESCO Global Geoparks in terms
of its evaluation and management even though Japan Geopark Committee take efforts to aim for
the holistic geopark implementation in accordance with UNESCO Global Geoparks policy. This
conclusion suggests aregional confusion due the fact that geopark as an international program
changed its framework within a short period.
