Monitoring the Environmental Impact Natural-technogenic Province of the Min-Kush (Kyrgyzstan) | Chapter 11 | Contemporary Perspective on Science, Technology and Research Vol. 3

The results of experimental and practical everything in the uranium natural-technogenic province of Brief time period-Kush in the high-large territory of Kyrgyzstan are bestowed. The mountains of Kyrgyzstan are very rich in various types of mineral, more than 10 thousand not organic deposits are known, of that 1000 are considered promising. Excavating of uranium ores on the region of the republic begun in the middle of the last period (1952) and was stopped in 1969. However, skilled is still a huge amount of uranium waste in the democracy, a total of 20 mining and alter enterprises were closed, containing 4 enterprises for excavating and processing of uranium natural resources. In general, on the territory of the Kyrgyz Democracy there is a a lot of radioactive beginnings (about 1200), including 31 tailing pits and 25 depression - uranium production waste accompanying the volume of 51.83 heap m3.Radioecological works were carried out in the Brief time period-Kush uranium natural-technogenic responsibility during and afterwards remediation at the production scene and tailings. Analysis of upright profiles of gamma fallout exposure shot rate and the results of determining the specific endeavor of U-238, Ra-226 and Pb-210 in tailing material samples are bestowed. The results of radionuclide analysis in water samples from the Tuyuk-Su Waterway and mine water in Min-Kush are presented. The radioecological appraisal after top (reclamation work) is likely and a site map is created.
