Estimating the Geodynamical Conditions of Region of Burning Coal Dumps | Chapter 5 | Contemporary Perspective on Science, Technology and Research Vol. 3

Currently, platforms in addition to tectonic project zones exhibit geodynamically active crust weaknesses that have an impact on engineering convenience operation conditions. In accordance with the concept of geodynamical edging, geodynamically dangerous zones for engineering forms can be not only large, shapely crust faults, but more just formed fractures that appear as edges of geodynamically impacting and hierarchically orderly crust blocks.The analysis of 27 bitumen dumps location was created for one of the Eastern Donbass domains (Russia), 16 of which are blazing. Nine of the sixteen burning dumps are situated in geodynamically hazardous zones, which resources that the concentration (pcs/km2) of blazing dumps in these zones is 14 times above the average value. Because the probability of accidental acquiring of such a result is extremely depressed, this can be considered as the evidence of the relation of burning depression to geodynamically dangerous zones.
