Indigenous Fundamental Layouts of the Hue Ancient Capital City during Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), Vietnam | Chapter 11 | Science and Technology: Developments and Applications Vol. 9

This study aims to analyze the layering of various layouts of the Capital City throughout its history and explain how it evolved from its foundational layouts to the acculturated layouts that emerged at the beginning of the 19th century and persist today. Furthermore, this study will establish a foundation for further research on the principles of acculturation in urbanization, offering guidelines for the preservation, inheritance, and utilization of the Ancient Capital City of Hue, while also guiding future tourism development in Hue City specifically and in Vietnam more broadly. The study examines the historic-eco capital city of Hue during the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945), where the Complex of Hue Monuments, the world cultural heritage site, is located. Based on historical documents, previous studies, field surveys, and comparative observations among historic urban cities in Vietnam and other East and Southeast Asian countries, this study concludes that the urban morphology of ancient capital cities follows indigenous layouts.

These indigenous fundamental layouts were shaped by natural elements, specifically the "Giang-Son" (River and Mountain) and the complex Water Quadrangles and Lakes system, which supported rice-field irrigation, waterway transportation, and natural ecosystems. These layouts are inherited from the natural resources of the emirate of Champa, which existed in the Hue area before the 14th century. These natural elements are still recognizable and have been continuously inherited through various Vietnamese feudal dynasties, from the period of the Nguyen Lords (1558-1777) of the Kingdom of Cochin-China to the Tay Son dynasty (1778-1802) and finally to the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945). The coincidence of characteristics in the ancient capital city of Hue is not merely a chance occurrence; it suggests that the city was established based on the indigenous fundamental layouts of an urban morphology that existed in these areas previously, likely during the period of the Champa emirates from around the 5th to the 10th centuries.

Role of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy in Burns | Chapter 3 | Current Progress in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 7

Background: This member aimed to decide the unexplored uses of Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) in second grade superficial burns of Hand. Negative Pressure wound Therapy is individual of the important Weapons in the armamentarium of Wound administration. NPWT provides an impressive and exciting development in wound care, accompanying different dispassionate applications. Application of tangible therapy and splinting after charred hand harms is very important and consists in stop oedema, contracture, maintaining or reconstructing range of motion, functional improvement, preventing of development of keloids scars, influence force and good cosmetic results, defeat infection and secondary confusions, good to normal substance is achieved, and self-management of syndromes. Early initiation of physiotherapy, current antibiotic lotion treatment, collagen application, splintage, lifeless exercise for second-degree detail burns. Many NPWT Kits are commercially available at significantly extreme cost. Most of the patients accompanying burns are from low socioeconomic strata. To lower the burden of cost we designed and secondhand indigenously made NPWT Kit. Significant decline in postburn edema in NPWT used burnt help compared to local antibiotic cream fertilizer observed. Burnt hands or parts that have existed treated accompanying NPWT heal more quickly. In our study, negative pressure wound cure for acute second-strength superficial burns produced bright outcomes in conditions of wound healing and decreased post-blaze edema.

The Power of Transdisciplinary Research for Business Innovation: The Case of Rooibos as a Potential Ergogenic Sport Drink| Chapter 2 | Current Aspects in Business, Economics and Finance Vol. 8

Background: The Centre for Sport Business and Technology Research (CSBTR) and the Applied Microbial and Health Biotechnology Institute (AMHBI) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) are administered to conduct excellent research accompanying a strong multi- and transdisciplinary focus. Based of the joint expertise of these two research individuals a transdisciplinary approach was adopted to best facilitate the study.Research objective: To examine whether Rooibos accompanying its singular bioactive compounds modulates oxidative stress and potentially aids improved material performance, accompanying an application as an ergogenic sport drink. Due to the character of this singular scientific-business cooperation, various advantageous social-business-related outcomes were expected.Methodology: Two experimental studies were transported, the first included thirty-two male members and the second 30 male participants, two together studies were randomized in a blinded, cross-over reserved trial in which participants swallowed standardized Rooibos or a fake pill drink. The first study involved an superior body maximum fatiguing elbow flexion/enlargement exercise test entailing 5 sets of 15 duplications of maximum voluntary shortenings separated by 10-second rest pauses on a Biodex System 3 at a speed of 60ยบ per second. The second study involved a lower body changed sub-maximum test and then periodic sprints on a Wattbike cycle-ergometer. Ethical authorization was granted for two together studies. Results: During exercise tests on both the superior and lower body preliminary results demonstrated that after ingesting Rooibos differing improvements in physical depiction were observed, especially the generation of larger peak torque in the above body test and upgraded endurance all along the lower body test, in addition to modulation of oxidative stress.Implications: There is an hope to develop a scientifically confirmed sport drink, which commit beneficiate the Rooibos industry and the sport/appropriateness community accompanying a high worth product. Furthermore the television and marketing moment to promote Rooibos in the public prominence sport drink industry could support increased income generation. These happenings can ensure better business-related and social sustainability of the area and also support fuller responsibilities in agreements of the fair and equitable giving of the benefits arising out of the utilisation of native biological money.

Study on Naturalization: The Case for Constitutional Reform to Extend Citizenship to Immigrant in Liberia | Chapter 8 | Insights into Economics and Management Vol. 12

By analysing survey, remittance, and naturalisation data collected by Afrobarometer (Round 5 and 6 Surveys), USD Explorer, 2015 Yearbook of Immigration Statistics, and TLC Africa from 2011 to 2015, this study examines critical elements of extending citizenship to entrepreneurial minority groups (Lebanese, Mandingos, Indians, Nigerians, and Westerners) and Liberian dual citizens in Liberia. This is performed by examining relationships between variables such as Liberians' gender in survey replies, West African opinions, Liberian naturalisation in advanced countries, and so on. Using Liberia's remittances (inflow and outflow) to demonstrate the economic benefits of granting foreigners citizenship. In the long run, recruiting entrepreneurial groups raises investment in new domestic enterprises, which is likely to lead to changes in national industries, improved citizens' technical abilities, permanent job creation, and improved citizens' living conditions, as well as increasing democratisation.
