The Power of Transdisciplinary Research for Business Innovation: The Case of Rooibos as a Potential Ergogenic Sport Drink| Chapter 2 | Current Aspects in Business, Economics and Finance Vol. 8

 Background: The Centre for Sport Business and Technology Research (CSBTR) and the Applied Microbial and Health Biotechnology Institute (AMHBI) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) are administered to conduct excellent research accompanying a strong multi- and transdisciplinary focus. Based of the joint expertise of these two research individuals a transdisciplinary approach was adopted to best facilitate the study.Research objective: To examine whether Rooibos accompanying its singular bioactive compounds modulates oxidative stress and potentially aids improved material performance, accompanying an application as an ergogenic sport drink. Due to the character of this singular scientific-business cooperation, various advantageous social-business-related outcomes were expected.Methodology: Two experimental studies were transported, the first included thirty-two male members and the second 30 male participants, two together studies were randomized in a blinded, cross-over reserved trial in which participants swallowed standardized Rooibos or a fake pill drink. The first study involved an superior body maximum fatiguing elbow flexion/enlargement exercise test entailing 5 sets of 15 duplications of maximum voluntary shortenings separated by 10-second rest pauses on a Biodex System 3 at a speed of 60º per second. The second study involved a lower body changed sub-maximum test and then periodic sprints on a Wattbike cycle-ergometer. Ethical authorization was granted for two together studies.Results: During exercise tests on both the superior and lower body preliminary results demonstrated that after ingesting Rooibos differing improvements in physical depiction were observed, especially the generation of larger peak torque in the above body test and upgraded endurance all along the lower body test, in addition to modulation of oxidative stress.Implications: There is an hope to develop a scientifically confirmed sport drink, which commit beneficiate the Rooibos industry and the sport/appropriateness community accompanying a high worth product. Furthermore the television and marketing moment to promote Rooibos in the public prominence sport drink industry could support increased income generation. These happenings can ensure better business-related and social sustainability of the area and also support fuller responsibilities in agreements of the fair and equitable giving of the benefits arising out of the utilisation of native biological money.

 Non-response is an issue that typically arises from lack of interest, being away from home, refusing, etc. For population mean estimate in the situation of nonresponse, many authors produced estimators. When there is a non-response, estimate of the product of two population means is also necessary. Some estimators for the product of two population means employing an auxiliary characteristic in the presence of non-response have been proposed while keeping this feature in mind. Bauxite Mining Industry in Guinea and the Valorization Prospects of the Resulting Residue for Engineering Purposes | Chapter 8 | Novel Perspectives of Engineering Research Vol. 4

 Because of the importance and diversity of its natural riches, Guinea is recognised as a geological disaster. Experts, regardless of the grading system, utilise superlatives to highlight the country's tremendous potential. Guinea has 33 percent of the world's known bauxite reserves, according to several geological surveys. The way a deposit's content is defined is inconsistent, and the ideas and definitions are muddled up in different statistics data. As a result, when evaluating distinct bauxite resources, an expert must be aware of the terminologies in use and change his evaluation accordingly. The large bauxite potential presents a significant chance for the country to become a global leader in the bauxite and aluminium industries, as well as create red mud value-adding prospects. The bauxite potential and local alumina industry in Guinea, as well as the technology utilised to evaluate the resulting red mud, are discussed in this article. Effects of Immutonic Capsule in Human Volunteers with Flu Symptoms: A Clinical Approach | Chapter 11 | Recent Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 13

 Introduction: Historically, many herbs and natural dietary materials have been regarded as powerful panaceas capable of establishing a balanced inflammatory response, fostering a healthy immunological response, as well as having antibacterial and viral properties. Some drugs have substantial negative effects when used in therapeutic settings. Natural substances, we claimed, could be a better therapeutic method.

The goal of the study was to see how effective the IMMUTONIC capsule was in treating flu symptoms in human volunteers.

The study included twenty-four male and female adult participants ranging in age from 21 to 60 years old.

Study Design: The study is a one-week randomised clinical trial. For one week, volunteers were given three IMMUTONIC capsules after each meal.

The improvement of flu symptoms was measured using a 0-to-5 improved health scale after 3 and 7 days.

Results: After 3 days of follow-up, flu symptoms and hunger improved significantly at p0.05, whereas health improved dramatically at p0.05 after 7 days.

Conclusion: Immutonic pill relieves Flu symptoms by improving the immune system and its antibacterial and viral actions, as well as increasing appetite, which leads to better feeding.
