Determination of Controlled Local Hyperthermia and Magnetic Hyperthermia of Cancer Diseases in Skin | Chapter 14 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 5

This stage discusses about regulated Local Hyperthermia and Magnetic Hyperthermia of Surface (Skin) Cancer Diseases. Index of morbidity and fatality conditioned by malignancies in all world is increasing forever. Early diagnostics is instead difficult and plurality of patients address nursing homes because of statement cancers, when they need combined resection, radiation and drug remedy and complex treatment. Average capacity of hematite and magnetite micro and Nano powders and poly dispersity index, zeta potential and distribution of pieces were studied. Analysis accompanied that average size of the got particles for magnetite is 740.9 nm, for hematite atoms 30 - 35 nm. Alternate current feed source was devised for hyperthermia. Based on the objectives' necessities, U-type Mn Zn material magneto conductors were preferred. Glass test tubes containing magnetite or hematite suspensions were introduced into gaps that were cut to 10.0 and 8.0 mm in width. A succession of experiments conducted at various frequencies and field intensities disclosed that a more potent design with a repetitiveness of up to 10 megahertz was necessary for effective drawing hyperthermia therapy in order to reach the hotness of 43°-45°C, which is necessary for the full incitement of Neel and Brown mechanisms granular. At the next stage, on the basis of exploratory material the anti- tumor mono-therapeutic effect of hyperthermia and allure adjuvant operation in poly chemotherapeutic treatment was presented for one use of a device generated by us “LEZI”. Results of visual notes are proved for all three mammals, on the basis of calculations made later three, seven and ten sessions. As a result of the experiment it was proved that in all animals (outbred light mice, 3 months traditional) inhibition of tumor growth was established and intra cyst necrosis was grown, while after 7 and 10 gatherings tumors were ulcerated, that refers to positive effect of the experiment (Conclusion of Pathologic anatomical Laboratory “PATGEO”, Tbilisi, Georgia).

Vascular Calcification, Insight in Its Pathophysiological Pathways, Genetics and Clinical Aspects | Chapter 6 | Advanced Concepts in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 1

The pathophysiology and historical regulation of this process are two together evaluated in this place chapter along with the key devices at play. Vascular calcification is highly guide cardiovascular disease death, particularly in high risk cases with diabetes and never-ending kidney diseases (CKD). In ancestry vessels, intimal calcification is guide atherosclerosis, whereas median calcification is a non-occlusive process which leads to raised vascular stiffness and reduced vascular agreement. In the valves, calcification of the leaflets can change the machinelike properties of the tissue and influence stenosis. For many decades, vascular hardening has been noted by way of of aging. Recent research suggests that arterial hardening is an independent cardiovascular risk determinant (CRF) for morbidity and mortality. New studies have specified the existence of complex physiopathological mechanisms that flocks redness, oxidation, the release of synthetic mediators, and genetic factors that advance the osteochondrogenic differentiation of vascular smooth influence cells (VSMC).

A Rare Case of Chronic Anogenital Ulcerations and Polymicrobial Pelvic Infections: Diagnosis and Management | Chapter 13 | New Advances in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 9

This phase highlights about a case of Chronic Anogenital Ulcerations and Polymicrobial Pelvic Infections. Chronic organs ulceration is outlined as a loss of superficial wealth more or less deep leaving not completely the dermis exposed (erosion) and constantly interesting the medium or deep skin (ulceration). They will be named chronic when their evolution is more a month. We endure in gynaecological consultation, a 26-period-old patient G1P1001, giving a menstrual cycle outside abnormalities, with a record of unprotected vaginal sexuality with a 44-period-old friend of whom she was unaware of the certain character of the HIV serological status before the conference. The physical examination discloses a hypogastric sensitivity to deep touch, the presence of a superinfected anogenital inflammatory condition exposing the open ocean dermis camouflaged with purulent serosities, specifically involving the labia minora, the posterior vaginal divaricate, the anal domain, the clitoris, and an extension of the lesions to the gluteal fold. The right inguinal fold shown a satellite lymphadenopathy, as was found. A protocol was put in place: the beginning consisted of seat baths, antifungi and medicines administration: fluconazole 150 mg and tinidazole 2g in distinct doses, then josamycin 1 g/24h in two doses per os for two weeks. The second stage exists of the administration of doxycycline 200 mg for 21 days, Aciclovir 500 mg for 10 days, and the presidency of ARV (Tenofovir + Lamivudine + Dolutegravir) or one pill daily.  The clitoris, the labia majora and labia minora, and the posterior vaginal fork evenly heal over occasion. In cases of chronicity, a biopsy to expect a tumour process is not necessary if the patient responds well to situation and heals properly. A likely invulnerable reconstitution syndrome maybe used to explain reason the patient passed away two weeks afterwards starting ARV cure.  The polymicrobial character shows that skilled may be an interaction middle from two points the different STDs. In case of chronicity, a examination in search of a tumour process is not necessary when there is a acceptable response to situation and good healing.

Describing Honey: Nature’s Wonder of Healing | Chapter 2 | Current Topics in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 10

Objective: The objective of this present study is to measure, analyze and evaluate the therapeutic benefits of honey in the treatment of recurrent apthous ulcers. Materials and Methods: Sixty patients with mild oral ulcers received treatment for oral ulcers from the Dept. of Oral Medicine and Radiology. The topical application of honey or placebo treatment was conducted in a double-blinded clinical trial and a reduction in the size and length of full ulceration removal was noted.

Results: After 3 days of treatment with honey dressings, ulcers were greatly reduced in size, with some having full remission after another 3 days. In our research, effective use of honey as a topical treatment for decreasing healing time and pain remission was proven in recurrent apthous stomatitis. However, due to many drawbacks, only a poor inference can be drawn and further studies are warranted to prove its effectiveness on a boarder scale for therapeutic advantage.
