Determining the Model of Nuclear | Chapter 7 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 4

The formation of all nuclei is thought to begin with the formation of a helium nucleus. All subsequent elements' nuclei are made up of a chain of helium nuclei. They are both constrained to have a binding energy equal to the energy of separating the nucleus of helium. The helium chain nuclei coagulate into a ball.

Study of the Structure of Atomic Nuclei | Chapter 5 | Current Approaches in Science and Technology Research Vol. 2

The nuclei of all elements are made up of a series of helium nuclei. The interchange of mesons between nucleons ensures the stability of helium nuclei. The uranium 235U is divided in a chain where the energy of separation of the nucleus of helium 4He is close to zero. Helium has two protons and two neutrons in its nucleus.
