Environmental Change, Riverbank Erosion and Human Migration: A Review | Chapter 7 | Geography, Earth Science and Environment: Research Highlights Vol. 3

This paper is an attempt to investigate the relationship between environmental factors and human migration. In this regard, various studies available on migration are reviewed and compiled their findings. The literature was reviewed and analysed using descriptive technique which mostly followed in qualitative research. On the basis of a review of the literature, it has been observed that riverbank erosion is a burning issue in Bangladesh as well as in India, which is caused by floods. Due to riverbank erosion, a huge area eroded every year and it displaced a lot of inhabitants from the riverbank areas. The individuals lose their entire properties, leaving them with limited employment opportunities and reduced financial resources, which heightens the risk of food insecurity. However, the impact of riverbank erosion is not similar in all the areas. Somewhere, the impact is low and somewhere the impact is severe which permanently displaces the inhabitants. Hence, the displaced people are compelled to migrate in search of livelihood. Finally, the paper suggests further in-depth study to analyse the problem and control the riverbank erosion and migration.

The Nexus of Biofuels Production and Consumption, Green Economic Growth and Environmental Degradation | Chapter 2 | An Overview on Business, Management and Economics Research Vol. 2

The obeject concerning this study is to fill breach in previous research by examining the cause of biofuel production and devouring, green economic growth, and referring to practices or policies that do not negatively affect the environment degradation in six Asia Pacific nations (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea, and Thailand) from 2007 to 2020. Biofuel is considered pure and the smooth available fuels on world earth. Biofuels are obtained from biomass like forest and straw, that are released by direct explosion of dry matter and convert into a gaseous and liquid fuel. Other beginnings include natural resources like sludge, sewage and produce oils matter, which maybe converted into biofuels by a wet process like digestion and effervescence. A simultaneous committee model technique was used in this investigation. The study's key verdicts are organized into four examining models. For starters, biofuel consumption, capital formation, labor, and external direct investment all benefit biofuel result. Second, biofuels production, FDI, GDP per capita, and profession openness all have a advantageous impact on biofuels usage. Third, inasmuch as militarism has a detrimental affect green economic development, biofuel production, consumption, and mechanics innovation have a good impact. Fourth, biofuel production, consumption, green financial growth, and detergent energy all have a negative impact on material deterioration, inasmuch as population and want have a favorable impact. . Biofuels oil has excellent potential in supporting energy from undepletable source development to increase green economic tumor and reduce incidental degradation. Biofuel production and use, green economic development, and environmental deterioration are four pertain aspects that must be tried in order to gain sustainable development. As a result, if individual of them occurrences a difficulty, it will have an influence on economic project and environmental position. Thus, the production and consumption of biofuels are the basic steps in carrying out environmentally intimate economic activities, as designated in the condition of green economic development, where these three points strengthen one another in the form of positive impacts to underrate environmental shame. As commercial operations enhance more sophisticated, biofuels lubricate will play a significant part in addressing the strength dilemma from now on.
