A Classical Explanation for the Delayed Quantum Eraser Experiment| Chapter 11 | New Trends in Physical Science Research Vol. 2

From the perspective of Classical Physics, this paper analyses Kim et al's well-known delayed choice Quantum Eraser experiment from 2000. I've sketched out the experiment's setup. I show that the experiment's results can be explained using Classical Physics, and that they don't need "spooky activity at a distance" due to entangled particles, as Einstein famously phrased it, or events influencing the past due to the experiment's delayed choice feature.

Determining the Synthesis and Characterization of Some Novel Meso Functionalized Unsymmetrical Metalloporphyrins | Chapter 3 | Challenges and Advances in Chemical Science Vol. 5

The synthesis of meso substituted tetraaryl unsymmetrical metalloporphyrins is described in this article (A3B). The acetate approach and the dimethyl formamide method are two typical ways for metalizing porphyrins. New porphyrins with various functionalizations at the meso-position (A3B type) and their cobalt, nickel, copper, and zinc complexes were synthesised by reacting unsymmetrical porphyrins with metal acetates. The metalloporphyrins that were synthesised were characterised using UV, IR, NMR, and mass spectra. The copper complexes 1c and 3c were investigated further using ESR spectra and magnetic measurements for complexes (1a, 1c, and 3c). Fluorescence spectra were also employed to investigate the zinc complexes of 1d and 3d.

Determination of Magnetization Dynamics of the Material with Spin Triplet States under the Action of a Weak Varying Field and Spin-Lattice Interaction in Zero Constant Field | Chapter 14 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 15

The goal of this research was to look at the regular and irregular dynamics of spin-triplet states (STSs) in one-photon and one-magnon interactions with a changing magnetic field and a lattice, respectively. Analytically, the anisotropic regular dynamics of molecular single crystal STSs in zero constant and weak changing magnetic fields (weakness indicates the lack of saturation at the steady state and of nutation at the pulse EPR) directed along the molecular axes were examined. The equations characterising the sample magnetization's linear oscillations along that molecular axis, along which its nonzero starting value was produced, were constructed. The steady-state dynamical susceptibility to variable fields tensor was discovered. The effect of a short MW pulse on STS has been mathematically characterised, with a periodic dependence on the pulse duration and detuning. Without using the high temperature approximation over the phonon temperature, the anisotropic irregular dynamics of electron spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) at its one-phonon mechanism were explored, and the SLR rates of the individual STS transitions were computed. The related SLR probabilities were expressed in the form, which assumes a lattice's fractal dimensionality d; the results with d=4/3 corresponded well with the experimental data in STS of ribonuclease T1's buried tryptophan.

CuII Complexes with (2-benzylidenehydrazinyl)- 4- Phenylthiazole Ligands: An Experimental and Theoretical Study | Chapter 5 | Current Research and Development in Chemistry Vol. 4

The CuII complexes of (E)-2-(2-benzylidenehydrazinyl)-4-phenylthiazole, L1, (E)-2-(2-(4-chlorobenzylidene)hydrazinyl)-4-phenylthiazole, L2, and(E)-2-(2-(4-methoxybenzylidene)hydrazinyl)-4-phenylthiazole L3 ligands were prepared and spectroscopically characterised. The EPR spectroscopy indicates the formation for L2 and L3 of two complexation compounds, but for L1 of one main component. Hyperfine parameters A = 122(±1) G and g = 2.40(±0.01); A = 13(±2) G and g ⁇ = 2.08(±0.02) are seen in the CuL1 spectrum. Two distinct species are contained in the CuL2 and CuL3 spectra, the most prominent with the same hyperfine parameters measured for CuL1, and the second with hyperfine parameters A ⁇ = 109(±2) G and g = 2.36(±0.02); A ⁇ = 10(±2) G & g= 2.06(±0.02). Both species' EPR spectra are typical of tetragonal-distorted conditions around the middle of CuII. Semi-empirical calculations at the ligands' PM6 level indicate the possibility of different conformers under reactional conditions, indicating that cis / trans isomers may be the different species measured in the EPR spectra. Semi-empirical calculations at the PM3 level of the complexes indicate that a mixture of (preferentially) trans and cis N1-S structures should potentially be the reaction products. The FARIR and EPR spectrums corroborate these findings.
