Analysis of the Fifth Free Trade Think Thank Forum Paper in 2023 | Chapter 32 | Theoretical Key Issues and Practical Development Trends of China’s Digital Economy

In December 2023, the Hainan Federation of Social Sciences (CASS) and China Society of Policy Sciences held the fifth China Free Trade Think Tank Forum in Sanya, Hainan Province. A total of 104 papers from various think tanks, key laboratories and social science research bases across the country were collected. Based on the five dimensions of institutional innovation, this paper takes the seven-spiral system view of "government, industry, university and research fund consumption", uses the bibliometrics method and artificial intelligence tools to semantic segmentation of the forum results, and generates the cross-section data of the research hotspots of Hainan Free Trade port in 2023. This paper summarizes and comments on the research status from multiple dimensions such as keyword correlation heat, research direction classification and research content clustering. It is suggested that the free trade port explore the development road of benchmarking advanced digital economy model outwards and accelerating rural heterogeneous innovation internally.

Mapping the University-to-Work Transition: A Bibliometric Analysis of Higher Education Research in South Africa | Chapter 1 | Information Management and Technology: The Proceedings of the 10 th International Conference on Business and Management Dynamics (ICBMD), Edition 1

South Africa exhibits high unemployment rates, similar to several other African countries. This adversely affects the graduates of the African higher education systems. Current research disparities entail the need for a concise demographical landscape of African graduates' impediments and the increasing high unemployment rate. The significance lies in the necessity to identify interventions that have the potential to reduce the unemployment rates of graduates, improving economic morale through employability. This study executed a detailed bibliometric analysis as a segment of a systematic literature review, responding to a call for enhanced higher education research in Africa relating to graduates and the labour market. The bibliometric analysis aimed to unravel and map the current outlook of literature on South African graduates and the labour market and provide recommendations for future research avenues. By searching the terms ‘university’ and ‘work’, a total of 2584 documents were extracted from the SCOPUS database and reviewed using VOSviewer. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and meta-analysis parameters were followed throughout the data collection process. The results revealed that several research avenues necessitate further inquiry to support and reduce university-to-work impediments. The findings highlight that future research should entail themes on employability, psychological outlooks, and work-integrated learning in higher education. This study contributes to the academic domain by encouraging future research scholars to minimise the knowledge gap essential to reducing a high graduate unemployment rate in developing economies. Thus, implications and recommendations arose for educational institutes and scholars to advance the body of knowledge in such a field.

The present study highlights the bibliometric methods, which aid in evaluating the scientific work of scholars and faculty members etc. Scientists can also use this strategy to look into the strategic and historical expansion of publishing books across a variety of domains. It may also help investigators from other nations considering the literature is available in a variety of languages and may be accessed from many longitudes. Statistical approaches have been gaining prominence as a means for evaluating scientific study outcomes. Numerous bibliometric factors were utilized to analyze the publications, such as article contributions over time, authorship patterns, gender-based contributions, highly cited authors, titles, document type, and furthermore. It emerged as extremely advantageous to produce accurate statistical data using numerous analytic methods, tools, and software, such as Sci2, Sitkis, and VOSviewer. This paper also explores whether its approaches are enhanced by its laws, elements, measurements, indicators, applications, and other features.

Study on Bibliometric Analysis of “IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility”: 2010-2015 | Chapter 3 | Innovations in Science and Technology Vol. 1

 


Nitric oxide (NO), a free radical, has a dual role in human physiology and disease. NO is thought to protect cells at low concentrations; but, at greater concentrations, it becomes cytotoxic and contributes to tumour angiogenesis and cancer growth. Although previous research on the function of NO in cancer were tissue-specific, this review focuses on the underlying commonalities of NO exposure that exist across a wide range of malignancies. We also try to explain the role of NO and glutathione-transferase, a cellular protective enzyme. The growing involvement of NO in three key areas of epigenetics is highlighted in this article: DNA methylation, microRNAs, and histone alterations. Finally, we present the recent development of a model cell line system in which cells show a high level of NO nitric oxide adaptation, and we believe that these adapted cell lines can be effective tools for studying NO's role in cancer biology.
