Conductometric Assisted ZnO and Polypyrrole Composite Based N H3 Gas Sensor | Chapter 3 | Fundamental Research and Application of Physical Science Vol. 4

Metal oxides are wonderful choices as base matters in emerging technologies engaged of Gas Sensors. In this work, an effort is created to prepare the ZnO and polypyrrole composite thin film utilizing sol-coagulate technique. Nanocomposite thins film was prepared utilizing spin coating on mirror substrates for ammonia vapor sensing. ZnO and polypyrrole sols were prepared utilizing sol-coagulate technique and thin films were adapted by using spin coater. The nanocomposite thin films were inclined by varying the percentage arrangement of ZnO and Polypyrrole. Structural, optical and semantic properties of the adapted films were done using XRD, UV-Visible and SEM studies. The films were alone prepared on Inter-Digital Transducers for vapor sensing requests. Gas sensing answer characteristics of the prepared sensor were acted using workshop. The sensing reaction of the prepared films is observed and erect to be maximum (~33) for the 70%PPy+30%ZnO film at a comparatively low operating hotness of about 150 °C. The prepared film is also proven by optical vapor sensing method i.e., Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). SPR vapor sensor works on the principle of record the change in refractive index of the sensing coating (70%PPy+30%ZnO) on exposure to aim ammonia gas.

The Impact of Electronic Soft Skills on the Quality of Tourism Services during the Corona Pandemic (A Field Study on 5-star Hotels on the Syrian Coast)| Chapter 5 | Research Aspects in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 1

The Corona pandemic has greatly affected the tourism sector, and most hotels around the world have transformed to electronic work. Administrations must possess electronic soft skills in order to move. The study objective: clarifying the concept of electronic soft skills in hotels; defining the dimensions and concepts of electronic soft skills and methods of measuring them; and measuring the quality of the provided services and illustrating the impact of soft skills on them. The descriptive analytical approach was relied on in the study, and a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the Syrian coast hotel workers. The data were analyzed by using SPSS and SMARTPLS programs, and the results were as follows: There is a statistically significant impact of electronic soft skills and its diminutions (communication skills, electronic leadership skill, skill of electronic decision-making, electronic time management skill) on the quality of services provided in the Syrian coast 5-star hotels during the Corona pandemic.

Readiness of Community Pharmacists to Play a Supportive and Advocacy Role in the Fight against Corona Virus Disease: A Descriptive Cross-Sectional Study | Chapter 13 | Emerging Trends in Disease and Health Research Vol. 5

Background: As the coronavirus illness pandemic continues to impose a strain on healthcare systems worldwide, it is vital to analyse whether every part of the healthcare system is ready to respond.

The study sought to determine whether community pharmacists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are willing to assist in the fight against COVID-19.

The study employed a descriptive cross-sectional survey as its methodology. A descriptive analysis was used to identify the demographic characteristics of the sampled population, as well as frequency tables and graphs to determine the practise, readiness, attitudes, and knowledge of community pharmacists. The means of the subset of knowledge on COVID-19 aetiology, prognosis, and management, and the practise, attitudes were compared in a one-way analysis of variance to see if the difference was significant in predicting preparedness to play a supporting role in the battle against COVID-19.

Results: Adherence to the Ministry of Health's recommended recommendations for COVID-19 treatment and control as indicated by the practise of a community pharmacist. Approximately 74% cleaned all contact surfaces on a regular basis, and 69 percent performed basic temperature checks on personnel and consumers. Community pharmacists in Saudi Arabia viewed the fight against COVID-19 positively [m = 4.08, with a reasonably small difference in percentage distribution between those who were doubtful and those who claimed to be extremely satisfied (20 percent).] Community pharmacists in KSA revealed considerable awareness of COVID-19, as all respondents (100%) were aware of the basic symptoms of COVID-19, 62 percent were aware of COVID-19 management options, and 81 percent considered the ministry's material was adequate. A p value of 0.00 suggested that the findings were significant enough to support the hypothesis that community pharmacists in KSA were eager to help battle COVID-19.

Conclusion: The data show that Saudi Arabian community pharmacists are prepared to participate in COVID-19 pandemic preparation and response.

Determination of Response Statistics of Single Degree of Nonlinear Random Structure with Nonlinear Damping Characteristic and Nonlinear Elastic Characteristic | Chapter 5 | Recent Trends in Chemical and Material Sciences Vol. 4

The applicability of the route integral solution approach for determining the response statistics of nonlinear dynamic systems whose equations of motion may be described using linearization differential equations is investigated in this work. The focus of this work is on the dynamic reaction of structures under random loads. They are random processes with spectral density functions as a common description. For a nonlinear oscillator driven by response-dependent white noise, an identification technique is proposed. Records of the stationary stochastic response are used to determine stiffness, damping, and excitation. Assume that a single-degree-of-freedom structure is activated by a force that is characterised by the spectral density function as a random process. Under external stochastic wide-band stimulation, we describe a method for estimating the power spectral density of the stationary response of an oscillator with a nonlinear restoring force. The power spectral density is deduced by constructing an equivalent linear system.
