Tuning the Structural, Microstructural and Optical Properties of ZnO with Different Concentration of Cr Doping| Chapter 2 | Research Aspects in Chemical and Materials Sciences Vol. 6

A orderly study on the fundamental, microstructural and optical characteristics of Cr drugged ZnO nanoceramics accompanying different grinding period and temperature has happened stated. The burden percent of Cr in ZnO changes from 1 to 4% and the grinding opportunity varied from 2h to 10h. X-ray dissemination (XRD) dossier discloses that up to 3% of Cr maybe drugged knowledgeable ZnO after 10 stage of grinding showing distinct aspect polycrystalline Cr-drugged ZnO, but for x = 0.04 few peaks had connection with Cr2O3 was seen. But later calcination at 900 ∘C no additional peak had connection with Cr2O3 was noticed for x = 0.04 sample making single time. So until x = 0.04 Cr is beneath the solubility limit of Cr in ZnO by ball grinding. The dossier is well matched accompanying rietveld civilization of XRD pattern. Particle tumor was observed from FESEM micrograph following in position or time calcination and sintering. The band break of 2% of Cr drugged ZnO varies from 3.18eV to 3.06eV accompanying grinding from 2hr to 10hr repeated with growing Cr aggregation from x = 0 to x = 0.04 the difference of band gap was from 3.22eV to 3.235eV. Cr drugged ZnO shows vulgar shift with sophisticating aggregation and sintering.

Study of Enhanced Magnetodielectricity in Gd3+ Substituted Bi2Fe4O9| Chapter 5 | New Trends in Physical Science Research Vol. 2

The structural, magnetic, dielectric, and magnetodielectric characteristics of orthorhombic Bi2(1-x)Gd2xFe4O9 (x = 0, 0.015) ceramics synthesised via the solid state reaction approach are investigated in this paper. Temperature in the room The structural deformation of the ceramics is shown by Rietveld refinement of the X-ray diffraction pattern due to smaller ionic radii Gd3+ (1.05) substitution at the Bi3+ (1.17) site. Magnetic studies revealed a higher antiferromagnetic transition temperature (TN) in x = 0.015 (254 K) than in the BFO (250 K), as well as an increase in magnetism owing to Gd3+ and Fe3+ ion interaction. Around the magnetic transition temperature, a contemporaneous anomaly in dielectric and tan loss plots showed probable magnetoelectric coupling (MEC) in both materials, and the MEC coefficient (Y) is estimated by YM2. For x = 0.015, there was a 100 percent increase in magnetodielectric response.

Half Doped Mg-Zn Aluminates: A Study of Their Feasibility in Advanced Applications | Chapter 7 | Research Trends and Challenges in Physical Science Vol. 2

Spinel materials based on MgAl2O4 are technologically essential materials, and their ability to be modified in various ways makes them an attractive material from an application standpoint. We present Mg0.5-xMxZn0.5Al2O4 aluminates produced by a high temperature solid state reaction method (x = 0, 0.05 and M = Co, Ni, Cu). The structural, optical, and electrical characteristics of these aluminate materials were studied. The sample crystallisation into the cubic phase is inferred using Rietveld refinement of XRD data (Fd-3m). The presentation of distinct absorption bands in the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Raman inelastic scattering spectral analysis validates the anticipated sample construction. At room temperature, dielectric analysis demonstrates that these materials have a low dielectric constant of a few hundreds and a convincingly low loss value. The optical bandgap (Eg) was observed to decrease from 5.17eV for pristine to 3.9eV for Cu2+ doping using the UV-Vis characterization approach. Electrical modulus and impedance behaviour are also discussed in order to better understand the conduction process and factors that influence it. The electrical polarisation at various field values is also presented. In light of Jonscher's law, we also focused on morphology, composition, and ac conductivity.
