Assessment of Primary Health Centre Information System among Health Staff | Chapter 14 | Technological Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 4

Since this health centre offers fundamental healthcare services, one of which is connected to coverage or monitoring data requirements, primary health centres unquestionably need regional health records. Ngaglik I Public Health Center in Sleman is one of the healthcare facilities that has already installed SIMPUS (an application of management information system for public health center). Clinical information systems offer the ability to enhance patient satisfaction, lower operational costs, and improve the performance of healthcare facilities. To describe SIMPUS's operation at the Ngaglik I Public Health Center and gauge user comprehension of the application's Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This quantitative study employed an analytical correlational research design and the survey technique. 50 respondents were included in the sample, who were chosen by a straightforward random sampling procedure. SEM-PLS analysis was used to analyse the data, together with the TAM model and Smart-PLS software. To determine if a measuring device is accurate in relation to any desired outcomes, a validity assay is conducted. When a measurement result agrees with the objectives, it is considered to be legitimate, and the opposite is true. The indications for the degree of validity typically examine the convergent validity and discriminant validity of assessment instruments using a rule of thumb. The link between the factors for perceived ease of use and job relevance was modest statistically (p-value = 0.818). The correlation between output quality and perceived ease of use was marginal (p-value = 0.28).The users' jobs' relation to SIMPUS had no impact on how simple it was regarded to be to use. The output quality had no impact on the user's perception of ease of use. The aim to employ the SIMPUS display was unaffected by the screen's design. The use of the system has nothing to do with the desire to use. The use of the system has nothing to do with the desire to use. On system utilisation, the facilitation condition had no impact. System utilisation was impacted by perceived ease of use and usage purpose. Perceived usability and intent to use are influenced by the ability to show outcomes.

A Common Database and Transaction Pool to Reduce Data Redundancy and to Maximize Database Throughput in an Integrated Software System of a Particular Domain | Chapter 02 | Recent Advances in Mathematical Research and Computer Science Vol. 2

 The major goal of this work is to adopt and establish a single database from multiple databases in an Integrated Software System for a certain area. As a consequence, data redundancy will be reduced, database maintenance time will be reduced, the development phase of the front-end interface will be simplified, the system's size will be reduced, database throughput will be maximised, and a transaction pool will be implemented. The transaction pool is a database processing optimization tool. The database transactions can be pooled by the system. Transaction pooling increases database throughput while limiting the number of database connections open at any given moment. The transaction pool will also limit the number of times new connection objects are produced, promote connection object reuse, speed up the connection process, and control the amount of resources used on connection maintenance. We also show how to use a transaction pool to link transaction databases to a central database. We've also shown how to use the technology to construct non-visual transaction objects. In practise, we've used this method in our single integrated software system.

Study on Green Enterprise Resource Planning and Green Logistics Performance| Chapter 9| Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4

 Technological breakthroughs, information technology, and market demand are all constantly changing these days, resulting in a rise in the number of items entering the market with a short product life cycle. These circumstances result in a scarcity of resources and a disaster for the environment, driving firms to recycle and return defective products, which benefits both the economy and the environment. This research provides a conceptual model based on literature analysis and practise in this field.opportunity to explain how a company's reverse logistics performance can be aided by a Green Enterprise Resource Planning (GERP) system. The GERP construct is the independent variable, whereas reverse logistics performance is the dependent variable. Based on literature reviews, four independent variables have been proposed: operational qualities, information sharing, collaboration, and environmental knowledge and attitudes.

Recent Perspectives of Sustainable Local Economic Development: The Role of Informatics in Determining Municipal Revenue Management | Chapter 4 | Current Strategies in Economics and Management Vol.6

 

This chapter discusses the challenges undermining the ability of smaller municipalities in South Africa
(SA) to raise revenue to sustain local economic development (SLED). The concept of enactment of
technology-in-practice (ETiP) of Structuration Theory (ST) was adopted as a lens to understand and
interpret the factors hindering the implementation of relevant legislation e.g., the municipal property
rates Act of 2004 (MPRA) for SLED. The purpose of the study was to determine the role informatics
can play in the implementation of MPRA to institutionalise its provisions to improve revenue collection.
An extensive investigation in twenty-five (25) smaller municipalities across SA indicated a number of
factors suggested by ETiP have impacted on the implementation of MPRA and property rates
collection. The view is that implementation of legislation e.g., MPRA is similar to the deployment of
ICT solutions in governments. Thus, in the world of social theory, legislation implementation is a
socio-technical phenomenon with significant political, economic and social components. The finding of
the study is a general framework as a lens through which factors influencing SLED can be understood
and interpreted to provide a richer understanding of the complexity associated with the role of
informatics in government revenue management to drive SLED.
