Designing Educational Platforms for Critical Thinking and Cultural Awareness in Management Education | Chapter 27 | Digital Crossroads: Integrating Humanities, Science and Technology Edition 1

Critical thinking, cultural awareness, interdisciplinary curriculum, educational platformsIn an increasingly interconnected world, the development of critical thinking and cultural awareness is paramount for students to navigate complex global challenges. This paper explores the design of educational platforms that foster these essential skills through innovative curriculum design, instructional strategies, and technology integration. Delineating academic paradigms for fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness is cardinal for students to traverse complex global predicaments in an ever more reciprocatory world. Exploring the design of educational platforms that augment such essential skills through futuristic curriculum configuration, explicative strategies and “teachnological” (teaching and technology) amalgamation are the objectives of this paper. The study initiates by focusing on the gravity of critical thinking and cultural awareness in contemporary edification. It outlines scholastic platforms and their metamorphic role in enabling such proficiencies. The research accentuates an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates culturally diverse content and engages problem-oriented learning. Didactic strategies such as collaborative learning, the Socratic Method, and cultural engagement activities are scrutinized for their efficacy in nurturing cultural considerations and empathy. The research also discourses the impediments to implementing such educational platforms, including cultural sensitivity, access and equity, and the necessity of teacher training. Resolutions to these challenges are contemplated, ensuring that the platforms are inclusive, accessible, and effective. Case studies of efficacious programs are presented to exemplify pragmatic applications and achieve learning outcomes. The paper concludes with suggestions for the future, examining new developments in technology and trends that may improve the way critical thinking and cultural sensitivity are incorporated into the classroom as well as prepare students to be considerate, and culturally sensitive global citizens.

Integrating GrapesJS with AWS: Building an Educational Platform for Web Development Training | Chapter 8 | An Overview of Literature, Language and Education Research Vol. 10

Web development is a crucial skill in today’s digital economy, yet traditional educational methods often fail to adequately prepare students for the complexities of real-world development. The rapid evolution of web technologies demands innovative educational methods that balance theoretical instruction with practical experience. This paper examines the integration of GrapesJS, an open-source web builder, into educational platforms hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) to enhance web development training. By leveraging AWS's cloud infrastructure, educational institutions can provide scalable, secure, and interactive learning environments. The study presents case studies, performance evaluations, and student feedback to assess the impact of this approach on web development education. Results indicate significant improvements in student engagement and learning outcomes, demonstrating the potential of combining GrapesJS and AWS for modern web development training. The present study has demonstrated that combining a flexible, open-source web development environment like GrapesJS with the scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure provided by AWS can create a powerful educational tool for both instructors and students.
