Role of Digitalization in the Development of Rural Entrepreneurship in the Gokwe District of Zimbabwe | Chapter 5 | An Overview on Business, Management and Economics Research Vol. 3

 Adopting and executing digital technologies can assist country entrepreneurs in accessing nationwide and international markets to increase their appropriateness. Entrepreneurs in the rural areas of Zimbabwe can influence digital technologies and infrastructures to cultivate their businesses within the land sector. Many studies have investigated country entrepreneurs' enactment of digital technologies and their affect their performance. However, little empirical evidence is feasible on the role of digital science and how this can assist managers in the Gokwe district of Zimbabwe to sustain their trades. We adopted qualitative and determinable methodologies to collect dossier using interviews and questionnaires from rural executives. This chapter investigates mathematical technology's role in evolving rural entrepreneurship in Gokwe. Findings signify that rural entrepreneurs enjoy the role of digital electronics in facilitating socializing for professional or personal gain activities, connecting consumers, and interacting with suppliers, distributors, consumers, and markets to foster their performance and worth. However, most of them habitual that they had difficulty identifying new progressive opportunities and expanding their existent markets with digital science. Policy implications from this study are the need for government to reassure the adoption of mathematical technologies to enhance country entrepreneurs' businesses.

A Framework for Developing Agricultural Product Forecasting System Application for Farmers | Chapter 12 | Advanced Aspects of Engineering Research Vol. 16

 Agriculture employs one-third of the workers in the Philippines. Farmers were critical in ensuring that fresh food was delivered to every home on a regular basis, which was necessary for our health. The agriculture sector's long-term viability was improved by assisting farmers in developing a stronger network to market their products. By ensuring that produced products are profitable, the creation of an agricultural forecasting mobile application will help both farmers and dealers. The developed architecture design will be used in agricultural forecasting applications. The research looked into the factors that went into creating a smartphone application to assist farmers.


The use of a variety of statistical methodologies facilitated in the provision of in-depth analysis, resulting in a design that was more universally accepted by farmers.

The findings show that addressing certain common concerns about providing online services might help solve some problems and answer questions about agricultural output forecasting best practises.

According to the report, having a mobile agricultural forecasting tool alleviated the issues with farm waste generation.

Farmers will be able to use the app to determine the level of crop demand in the market and navigate to the location in the participating trading post where farm produce demand is high. Farmers and the government were able to improve the agricultural sector, which was trailing behind that of other developing countries.
