Major Tamil Cultural Celebration Dates' Corrections Based on Astronomical Science | Chapter 4 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 2

 This study aims to find the appropriate Tamil enlightening celebration dates established astronomical science. It confers misunderstandings, errors, and challenges in canny the Tamil cultural celebration dates and tries to find appropriate solutions for two together crucial celebrations, Thai Pongal and Tamil New Year. These celebrations must be on appropriate dates based on astronomical erudition and natural seasons. It is by way of the Tamil astrological calendar, that is based on the starlike (sayana) method. Ancient Tamil's astrological offering is outstanding. However, a fixing is necessary to avoid the seasons being lacking phase accompanying the natural wonder of the earth. This error and impression require slight changes and occur with something over several centuries outside notice. This paper makes a approximate study, analyses both one earth revolution around sun and sidereal year computation methods using consistent comparative and all-inclusive assessments, including diary discrepancy amount, precession assessment, and baffling assessment, and specifies a solution to the several day' challenge. The quantitative judgment uses sidereal and sultry calculation methods and tries the differences. This research item analyses the astronomical and of a broad-ranging consciousness-raising movement reasons behind it, how and reason people do the celebration on particular dates, and what to do about it. This change should for the benefit of society and the future generation. This is the first paper to address all these limits holistically. Therefore, this research finding is original, not repetitious, historical, and ground-breaking in astrology, astrophysics, and social science. This paper will be constructive for academics, researchers, physicists, consultants, astrologists, astronomers, enlightening institutions, and society.

Identification of Ecological Parameters of Long-horned beetles on Acacia senegal trees, Sudan | Chapter 7 | Cutting Edge Research in Biology Vol. 5

 Farmers in Northern Kordofan State rely heavily on the Acacia senegal tree, which produces gum Arabic, for a significant portion of their income. As a result, the study included the spectrum, relative abundance, and phenology of the longhorned beetle species; a globally important pest insect group that are infesting Acacia species in Kordofan region (Sudan), and as well as other elements that affect tree health. This research was carried out at three study locations during the 2007-2008 season. The study focuses on the assessment of tree characteristics that may trigger the infestation. The data were analyzed using logistic regression. Logistic regression indicated that tree age was the only predictor for the infestation with long-horned beetles, and was verified as a predictor variable by 91.1%; this study findings recommended for tree management and sustainability.
